Re: Arbitrarily lift a bunch of QC/perma bans from years past at headmin discretion
It is an idea. I’m curious to hear how it went on goon, but I doubt it’s going to work, first we’d need to review these, now I’m not sure how far back we’d go but every perma is a tall order, even assuming we did that, how many of them really even want to return but haven’t appealed? Not many of ...

People are overwhelmingly not in favour of this solution and we've gone ahead and removed the assistant cap following our own thoughts and the results of the poll. Assistants (and all overflow jobs) now have an unlimited capacity on Manuel again.

Head-admins write rules, admins enforce them, so this suggestion would more practically speaking be making the head-admins unable to enforce the rules they write.

Re: remove the assistant cap
The assistant cap being polled in the way that it is seems like its the only option to tackle the root issue compared to a simple pop cap which at least from a "can you do it" aspect is definitely on the table seems a bit strange.
Naturally the poll will be implied as a "this or nothing ...

Really there isn’t much discussion to be had because like Massa put it, it is justified ”when you deserve it lmao.”. Any deeper answer doesn’t seem very productive to me, since I don’t really want to have a checkbox for it, like rule 4 doesn’t say ”Acting like an antag is defined as:” for a good ...

Re: Is a security officer allowed to hold you in front of the tram as an alternative punishment to a brigging?
There's nothing special about the tram to demand special policy. If security has a valid reason to inflict the penalty of being hit by it on you then there's no reason why they can't use it. If they don't have a valid reason then there's no reason why they can use it. The tram itself is utterly ...

That job slots are config seems kinda weird to me tbh, like it is cool to have the input but to me it is moreso dictated by maps, like some maps can fit 3 geneticists pretty snuggly whilst others don't, same goes for chef. As for some specific jobs, I think Janitor is most suited for an increase ...

Due to that prs merging DNA infused humans are now non-human in silicon policy, in general our term will bend to the codebase on matters of non-human/human and how the mediscanner determines it.

We’ve discussed this and come to the unanimous conclusion to not make any change to the EVENT_MIN_PLAYER_MULT since it affects the minimum population of every event, for example changing the mult to 1.5 would make heart attack only roll on 60+ pop, to make impactful changes in this area for events ...
