I wasn't addressing you specifically cobby I'm sorry if it came across that way. I was talking more to the OP. I mean, there aren't that many instances where someone who was permabanned and honestly wanted to come back in good faith wouldn't have the means of doing so if there was reason to believe they have reformed.

It's definitely one of those weird points where I think it's a good idea for everyone to be on the same page as to who and what is human. I'm personally all for infused humans benefiting from the set bonus to be considered nonhuman. Similar to hulk and so on.

If a cooldown is intolerable, I simply do not agree with any code change to worsen pointing as a communication method for the reasons I already mentioned. This should stay a policy issue. I very much do not think making parts of the game worse to combat low bar players is a sustainable solution.

My code-solution to this was to make pointing less accurate at longer ranges. You could point at something near you no problem, but pointing across the screen would be wildly inaccurate and could mean anything - just like real life.

That is not how our darts work. I am not sure what codebase does this, but it isn't ours.
Riot darts do stamina damage because they are the special type of dart that does stamina damage to everyone. Normal darts do no damage at all unless modified with a pen.

You can pop the cap off normal darts with a screwdriver and insert pens into the darts to do an 'ok' amount of damage, if you can find enough pens. This works for edaggers, too, so you can have a foam force that does ~60 damage to an unarmored person per shot and embeds 100% of the time ...
