That's the problem though, you don't know they don't have anything illegal until after you search them.

Personally, I'll ask nicely if I don't have good reason to believe the person is guilty/dangerous. But if they are a prime suspect and you think it's likely they have bad stuff on them, you should just baton + search to minimize the risk (you don't even need to cuff, just baton and search).

I remember when I first started playing I would obsessively examine everyone I met and pore over the chat window at all times but now I hardly ever look at the fucking thing and almost never examine people. And it was way harder to keep track of chat messages back then, there was no Runechat, there was no Goonchat and combat messages weren't limited in range and routinely spammed the length of multiple chat windows. Couldn't resize text either.

I have no explanation for this change other than I just don't care anymore.

I wish cargo had the ability to distribute the minerals around, instead of everyone just drawing from the same pool. Sometimes you need to punish Robotics for researching combat mechs before getting miners their NV mesons, or worse, their fucking tools.

The QM has vault access and a remote that lets him unbolt the doors. Go to the silo and cut robotics's circuit imprinter and exofabs off from the network. Now they either A) have to grab mats from science, which is obnoxious for them or B) can't do their job, which is obnoxious for them.
