buddy its not hard. like literally all you gotta do is shave with the grain first, and then shave against the grain. (depending on what part of the face youre shaving, for the stache for example with the grain is down and against the grain is going up.)

just get some shaving cream, a good razor (could even be a safety razor just make sure its sharp) and just shave. just for the love of all that is holy never go sideways when its horizontal or you will cut yourself.

Noticed today that I can flex my left hand's ring finger without the others flexing with it, where as I can't with my right.
I'm going to blame osu! for this.
given my left hand is my tapping hand, and serves only to press keys on the keyboard at speed, where as my right hand is for aiming, and thus, doesn't have that skill.
though, it's not this finger that does the tapping, it's the middle + index, but I can't think of any other reason really.

now I'm asymmetrical and that's weird.

I found that if I drink a lot of water my migraines are a lot less bad. Still have to take paracetamol occasionally, though, especially when the weather is bad.

yeah people throw the word migraine very lightly

a headache isn't a migraine. the difference between a headache and the migraine i get: it's always a sub-orbital behind the eye pain for me, and it comes in clusters, i'll have it every other day for a month period every night without fail.

it's hell, it actually makes me wish i stopped living to stop the pain sometimes, aspirin helps a bit but usually i just try and sleep it off. the pain is "manageable" if im in a completely dark room.

I find that finding or making a purpose is hard. I have gotten to the point that i no longer have long term goals. Just short term quests and accomplishments. I think I'm living like a retiree. No direction, not caring that I dont have one and going with the flow.

In other news, apparently at some point recently my house was robbed. Nothing big, just a jewelry box, a 38 revolver and part of a coin collection. Stuff with sentiments value. The problem is, how did they get past the dog? She is ok, but vicious to strangers. Unless they somehow didnt wake her up or placated her, they would have had to have been someone she knew. Which is s short list.

Assembled a bench with my mum.
After we were finished, I took the two alan keys and put them together in a rectangle shape, just to see.

my mum walks around to them and says "Oh shit where's this piece supposed to go", she tries to pick up the mystical 'alan rectangle' and obviously it breaks into two pieces (the two keys)
before realising "Oh it's the two keys" to which I explode with laughter saying "I can't believe that worked"

I cannot believe that worked, it was absolutely amazing.

I keep getting these stress headaches recently. I'm doing okay in my classes but I don't think I'm doing good enough to get accepted at my school's master's program, which is really bring me a lot of shame. I'm willing to shift down to a less prestigious school but it's really giving me a lot of stress, causing me to not take my family's calls. Haven't talked to my dad consistently in over a half a year. I just feel like I'm not good enough. I'm hoping to finish my masters and get my CPA but I'm worried about not getting into a good enough company for work. Ever since I wasn't able to get into the early admission to the program due to getting a C in one of my classes that I spent my life on during the summer, I've been kinda depressed. Went home and wouldn't talk to my mom about education, I just felt so ashamed for getting that C after spending my entire summer studying for that class.

Not too sure what to do, I've started to accept that I may get into a less prestigious master's program but it still irks the back of my head. Everyday I'm waking up with a really bad migrane and I'm drinking a lot more to forget about it all. I just am so worried that I won't be able to support my family, I feel like I should be working right now on top of my classes, but I'm not sure if my stress levels can handle it. I just feel bad for spending my family's money on education, I've done everything I can to minimize my expenses. I still just feel like a drain.

Never really talked to anyone about this.

I don't normally post in this thread, but I can relate to your situation so I hope I can help a bit.

Firstly, if stress is causing you physical symptoms you should try to see a doctor if possible. Your brain is something you should really play it safe with.

Also, be super careful about drinking to manage your problems. It helps short term but it's really easy to get reliant/addicted and tends to just make things worse in the long term. I've know a few people fell into that, it's really not something you want to mess with.

Anyway...
There's no shame in not getting into the most prestigious program (although I'm sure you will!) or getting a moderately bad mark. If you put in your best effort that's all you can do. Sometimes your best just isn't quite enough, and that's life. I didn't get into my first choice of university program despite my family's high expectations. It wasn't the end of the world (although it felt like it at the time), just means you have to alter your plans a bit. When it comes down to it, the best possible program only gives you a slight edge over other people when getting a job, and even that matters FAR less than stuff like who you know or being in the right place at the right time for that sort of thing.

I don't know anything about your family situation, but I'd reccomend talking to them about all this if possible. It sounds to me like it's mostly your family stressing you out and not school. I've had to talk to my family about stuff I've been extremely stressed about telling them, and it's always turned out not to be as bad as I thought (although it was admittedly a very different situation to this). Even if they get upset, you can start working on fixing those problems at that point, rather than stressing about it all the time and not making any progress.

Also, don't worry about which company you start working at, you can always move to a better one as you get more experience.
