No basil is down because because Microsoft update fucked the server and will have to be copied from sybil and then characters and such added back in manually.
I'm sure MSO has more technical details than that, but that was the gist of it as I got from IRC.

Ah i see. It seemed like basil was lagging behind in code updates too, such as the tesla engine, launchable escape pods and a few other things. Is that going to be rectified?

Actually the ops were pretty much wiped out immediatly after landing. They got out of the pod and were greeted with a barrage of combat shotgun and laser fire.

Server still down though

Some asshole got crit in the pod because he doesn't know the difference between combat and travel mode, another started being a cuck because he couldn't accept that taking the ion rifle with us was a bad idea and another one decided that activating his explosive implant on the pod was a good idea.
