It's been over 5 hours since the server, as I have learned it's called, went down. I can almost remember it like it was yesterminute. The horrors as those words flashed by, "connection to server lost, reconnecting in 10 seconds", looking around, at my world, from the outside, from this strange computer in front of me.

"Where am i, what am i, is this the clowns doing?"

I wondered as I attempted to ascertain this strange new world I found myself thrust into. I learned about rent, I learned about homelessness, I learned about a place where gravity wasn't generated, but naturally occurring, where flour in the microwave doesn't really net you much, where walls were so weak even unrobust scrubs could punch through them.

These may sound like the ramblings of an insane man who's gone mad to you, and at this point, I can't say I'd blame you, but to me, this has been my reality for the past five hours.

I still don't understand this world. I can't fathom why they measure brig times in months and years not minutes and seconds, or why I haven't seen a clown all day, or how the fuck to work this microwave. Do these doors even have wires? i wondered. Does the clown even exist? Was he just a figment of my imagination? Am I dreaming? Will I wake up soon? or did i do that five hours ago?

All I know is, I hope I wake up soon.

It was at about this time that I figured out that I should probably stop clicking the join link.

I sat there in a dazed wonder. What had happened to the server? Why was this happening to me? Why are my pants on backwards? The answer to all of these questions remained concealed, and so I began my magical journey to a place known as TGstation13.org. I saw things, I heard things, things no bluespace researcher should see. Things that not even Nar-sie could imagine to torture us with.

Quickly I armored up, and entered my credentials as I found my way to this very tavern, said to hold the status of the very thing which I hold most dear. Here I remain, ears glued to the doors of knowledge contained within this place, awaiting the slip of tongue which would give me insight to my troubles.

Alas, I fear I should never leave this place.

This may just be me but it looks like the servers are down. All of them. There's nothing in this thread about it, though. Did I miss an announcement about an update/servermerging/hardware malfunction?
They have a temporary server, so I'm assuming that I've missed an announcement.
EDIT: I did somehow miss the announcement at the top of every page on every board about server maintenance, somehow. My bad.

Is Sybil still down? I haven't been able to connect since the full server crash earlier today. I just get an opaque 'connection failed' message after a good ten seconds or so. The server listing says it's up, and the population seems to be changing, so it's rather mystifying. I'll try again tomorrow, I suppose.

EDIT: Apparently I can't connect to any /tg/ server now, bay works fine

EDIT EDIT: i tried relaunching byond and deleting my cache and replugging my router and deleting my cache manually and switching accounts and sacrificing my firstborn and restarting my computer but it isnt working help
