Another network issue, high pings, high lag, most people should expect issues connecting, disconnects, and high ping.

No basil is down because because Microsoft update fucked the server and will have to be copied from sybil and then characters and such added back in manually.
I'm sure MSO has more technical details than that, but that was the gist of it as I got from IRC.
