Rumours that Charlotte's main over-arching plot would start from Episode 6 onwards were DEFINITELY true.
I don't really have words for the episode, but god was it powerful.

im kinda losing interest in GATE, the concept did not stay fresh for very long, so maybe i should pick up Charlotte

also in terms of obligatory one-trash-anime-per-season, i went with shimoneta instead of monster girls and holy shit what the fuck is happening

i was expecting something like seitokai yakuidono, with a lot of dumb sexually-themed puns and jokes but fairly tame otherwise, i was NOT prepared for Fahrenheit 451: The Hentai

Watched today's episode of Charlotte.
It was a good episode, not as much of an impact as the last episode, but it left me slightly teary and with a quivering smile? that's a first, I can cry at anime a lot but a quivering smile? yeah...

There was one part that I loved but kind of ruined a moment:

When Yuu is watching Anime in the Comic Cafe and ANGEL BEATS IS ON THE TV. I liked that because it's Jun's other work and I loved angel beats, but it also gave that moment less impact because I was giddy over it.

Tears were had when I watched this.. 4th anime to make me cry D:

Watching two Airing anime at once, that's a first.
Thankfully they air on separate days so that's good.

Found Ranpo Kitan: Game of Laplace (It's a Detectivey/Murder Mystery anime by noitaminA and Funimation, based on works by Edogawa Rampo)
I originally wasn't going to watch until I'd finished Charlotte, but I gave the first episode a go and HOLY SHIT is it a good hook.

There's a few niggly things though:
1. Characters who aren't part of the plot (or are) are greyed out silhouettes, when the character is shown as important they fade in, this was nice, but I have a feeling it'll get old fast.
2. MC is a stereotypical case of "They drew a girl but said it's a boy" Thankfully though they have atleast used it for some plot, rather than comic relief (although it's that too)

I watched Expelled from Paradise the other night. Good art, the dub was good, and most of the characters were interesting, but the ending was sorta predictable.

Out of the 8 available episodes I've watched 5 (I'm going to keep binging today)

I can sum Ranpo Kitan: game of Laplace up in 4 words:
"Oh for FUCK's sake!"

Right now this is definitely getting a 9~10 /10 from me, and I've not even seen all available episodes.

Shirobako is really damn good. It's not just about how hectic the anime industry is, it's also about various working people in various stages of their lives, but mainly focuses on five women who are only taking their first steps in working life. It actually explores an area that's in my near future (working life fresh out of college) rather than in my near past (high school) and I just love it.
