If people are not able to communicate, it can lead to danger because the crew is not aware of active threats.

I think mechs should lean into being powerful but limiting. You don't get to use any handheld tools while in one, and you don't meaningfully benefit from any chems or other bonuses you can get as an organic humanoid. But you have a powerhouse vehicle that can mount helpful equipment or weapons.

Buy a personal First Aid kit from cargo (don't steal from medbay).

Chances are you may be first on scene to a fight. If you can't catch the assailant before he runs off, you can at least stabilize the victim before moving them to medbay.

Borgs are faster than game-start humans but slower than what mid-game humans can achieve. There is no way for a borg to increase their speed except by being in a bluespace body bag carried by a human.

Laws are supposed to be final; they override even cult and revolutionary status. The one exception, Malf AI, has a Law 0 that still plays a part in explaining why Malf AI is given a free pass.

You could borrow an idea from chem and make it a temporary bonus.

For example; an extract you refine into a drink/injection that gives you the xeno tackle ability, but only twice. If you want to do it again, you have to extract more xeno material.

It would be neat if it didn't require a ghost under nominal situations. Like, it's a special egg that spawns braindead/simple intelligence xenos, and then you expose the mobs to a gas that causes them to replicate or whatever to promote harvesting and too much gas mutates them into gaining sentience.

Currently, admins can manually set the expiration date of notes, and we should keep that functionality. Additionally, we do occasionally use record keeping notes that aren't about player conduct (such as when a player changes accounts) that would need to be permanent.

Cutting AI wires on doors doesn't prevent the AI from using them; there's just a long delay with a bunch of flufftext about hacking the airlock the first time an AI clicks on a door with the wire cut.
