Ashwalkers starts with/crafts an item with X materials, this item can be used to click on a tendril and makes the tendril into a seed. This seed can be later reactivated to create a new tendril on the spot, picking to spawn either watchers, goliaths or legions and will also not cause chasms or drops loot cause mah balance.
This would make it so ashwalkers can more easily farm some stuff, make for interesting invasions of planting tendrils in the station (which won't spawn chasms) and miners to somehow get the item for themselves so they can do whatever they want with it.

I dont particularly like the ashwalkers having access to this particular idea, it'd be better put in the hands of station staff for their own purposes if you ask me, if they did have access to it, they should be able to pack up the existing tendril they have, and pop it down somewhere else. Attempts to grow more tendrils by ashwalkers could be countered by having the ashwalker tendrils yield permaset to 1 without mutagen (within the same rules as kudzu potency)
All for picking up and planting tendrils however as a idea, you could use it to spawn specific things.

> Inject blood to default to normal (no chasms or loot)
> Inject human/monkey blood to spawn mindless ckey free carbon people/monkeys
> Inject lizards L blood to create a ash-walker nest.
