Lavaland roles and their rules.
Gonna be upfront, still salty as all hell.
Besides ashwalkers being antags do the other lavaland roles have the same 'do anything' tag attached to them? For example can a plant person kill a miner, take his stuff and go looting? Can the beach sleeper guy lure an ash drake onto the station and let it kill everyone?

The last prisoner I had an issue with was one of them murdering a chaplain in self-defense. 99% of the time, prisoners are a great mid-round additional security team that rarely cause problems. The unloved rock wrote:prisoners tho

Building off this, I don't think I've ever had a bad experience with running into prisoners as a miner. I usually give them directions towards the outpost and toss them a a spare capsule incase of a storm. One time as a storm started while in a capsule, all of them burst through the shelter door looking for protection. Being crammed in a 3x3 place with 4 other prisoners, one of them talking about how they're in for murder while wearing a human-skin suit, two trying to play off as escorting officers wearing the uniforms of the dead security from the shuttle.Atlanta-Ned wrote:The last prisoner I had an issue with was one of them murdering a chaplain in self-defense. 99% of the time, prisoners are a great mid-round additional security team that rarely cause problems. The unloved rock wrote:prisoners tho

It's extremely hard to react in a situation where they look like security and have access. Especially when you're already trying to deal with other shit and don't have 0.5 ping retard.Zilenan91 wrote:Things happen and they need to git gud

Re: Lavaland roles and their rules.
One time as a Prisoner I made it onboard the station disguised as a security officer during a cult round. I found an unconcious HoP, swiped his ID and forged myself a station ID with all-access.
The cult was pretty damn big so I decided to ingratiate myself by offering someone I was pretty sure was a Cultist that I'd get rid of sec's loyalty implants, keep the shuttle recalled and give them my gun if they promised their sekret klub wouldn't kill me.
I got converted and helped summon Nar-Nar.

I admit I steal him every round I'm the HoP or Captain and hide him in a locker to see if the janitor notices

There is a lot of very bizarre nonsense being talked on this forum. I shall now remain silent and logoff until my points are vindicated.

I'm honestly tempted to do this more often just to see you screech and writhe more, but that wouldn't be cool of me. So come on haters, show me some more of your high blood pressure please.![]()

Re: Lavaland roles and their rules.
Personally I hold prisoners to the ash walker standard.
They're escaped convicts that were being held by the same company that all the crew are employed by. I get a lot more rustled when I see a prisoner show up wearing guard gear ripped off a corpse and security's just like "welcome aboard!".

Re: Lavaland roles and their rules.
Fun fact, for a long time prisoners and their guards were always male, but using envy's knife on one of the dead guards turned a prisoner into a female (with name, hair etc. of a dead guard).

Re: Lavaland roles and their rules.
IC, there's no reason to believe the person saying they're a guard from the prison shuttle isn't actually a guard from the prison shuttle. If you haven't met someone before, how are you going to know their real name is "NT #001234" outside of meta?Oldman Robustin wrote:Personally I hold prisoners to the ash walker standard.
