Plans/Ideas for Simple Animal Bots

Now that the impossible is a reality, there are a few things I would like to see happen for bots! :clean: :tile: :medbot: :thelaw: (Beepsky, Floorbots, etc) Note that I will probably be coding all of these myself, honk! :honk:

[*]Add bots to the Diagnostic HUD.
Bots should show on the Diagnostic HUD. The HUD will track their health, mode, and status (including if a player is inside). (Emag status not included)

[*]Allow the AI to message a player-controlled bot directly, and show the fact that it is player controlled via the botcall interface.

[*]Allow player bots to have more control over themselves, such as a Medibot selecting its reagent, or scanning a patient with its medical analyzer.

[*]Let a player bot view its current interface settings and directives.

Dreams:
[*]Allow an AI to ASSUME DIRECT CONTROL of a bot while not leaving its actual chamber.

[*]Let Roboticists create player controlled robots by inserting a positronic brain into a finished bot. (The brain is destroyed in the process)

How about a staff of change turning into a sentient beepsky. Better yet shunting into a beepskie for fun

I was going to suggest positronic bots, but you seem to have already done that. To me those would be perfect, although slightly too powerful for the security ones. Maybe sentient beepskies would be slightly bulkier and therefore easy to shoot.

Just make it so you don't have to directly click on a bot with a gun to hit them with boolits/lasers
Solves the issue with sentient beepskys

I will test a weapon on Beepsky to confirm that.

Also, Bots are added to Diagnostic HUD!
