Ban/note reason: As a non-antagonist miner, brought up a clown colossus crystal and baited people into talking while near it to turn them into clowns. Also situated themselves both in a high traffic area, and was well equipped to fend off anyone who might try and take issue. Since there is prior history of both poor escalation and forecfully changing peoples characters/their appearance, and your horrendous note history with no indication of learning anything told to them, this has been brought up to a permanent ban.

Why should this appeal be accepted?: I think the ban was a bit harsher than necessary, but I didn't want to appeal this until some time had passed and I spent some time away. I know I'm not always the best at following the rules, but I think I can point to my time on wall station and show marked improvements in behavior. I really don't intend to shit up the place, and I believe I've learned my lesson.

Hi, thank you for appealing.

I'll start from the top, which is specifically addressing your time on wallstation. When you made this appeal, I was approached by a wallstation admin to highlight the fact that, during your time on wallstation, you actually started to do the same hypno gimmicks you used to do here on /tg/. The ones you definitely had a note for and contributed towards the decision making on your final ban. This actually resulted in your ban here being mirrored on wallstation. So, two things;

A) Wallstation was only around for roughly a week. And while we do appreciate people being able to play somewhere which shares the /tg/ ruleset for the most part and act appropriately, we wouldn't ever accept a vouch from a place you could only play for a weeks time. And...
B) We wouldn't consider getting permanently banned for the exact same reasons you were banned on /tg/ as at all a good indicator of improvement. In fact, it is the opposite and does more damage to the credibility of your claims of improvement. Particularly when you, yourself, are offering your time there as an indicator of improvement. I'm not sure exactly what this was meant to accomplish...

The core basis of the ban wasn't any particular gimmick, but a more holistic examination of your playstyle. The problem that you must improve upon is that you are not able to play in our environment without it negatively affecting the experience of everyone else who has to encounter your particular playstyle, or become a target for your vindictiveness if they sleight you or you manage to bait them into a conflict with you, by which you will escalate to the point that their round is absolutely going to be ruined. If you being present in a round is an active detriment to everyone in it, the only way you are ever going to find yourself unbanned is if you are able to exist on a server without incident for a long period of time.

To highlight how you have failed to accomplish this beyond wallstation or /tg/, on a server where you have a larger amount of time, is that you have been quality control banned from Monkestation for behaviour that appears to be similar to what got you banned here. This isn't the kind of thing we would want to see from a player arguing that they had improved with time. This isn't something you presented, but it is something I want you to reflect upon. How can three different administration teams come to the same conclusions about you?

There is in no good conscious a way in which I could unban you. Everything so far shows you will simply end up being banned again for the exact same behavior as last time. It would be unfair on you, and unfair on the players who will be subjected to your behavior in the meantime, to unban you only for you to end up banned again. There is only one way in which you can find yourself coming back here, and that is if you can get yourself a very strong vouch from a major server where you have played for at least a few months consistently without incident and without causing fights or problems with your fellow players or being an active detriment to the overall game experience. I will not accept an appeal from you until you can accomplish this, and this appeal is denied. You are welcome to ask for headmin review.

I will at least add that you can make an appeal again after a reasonable amount of time by which you can get a credible vouch. You don't have to wait at least a year to appeal again.
