Your character name: Tate Brier
Their character name(s): Mitchell 'Iron' Ironmonger
When did it take place: Roughly 11:30 EST (15:30 UTC?)
Round ID in which ban was placed: 27347 fairly certain. Round after was 27348, only checked after though.
Evidence: Thought to check too late so the relevant local logs are no longer available.
Your side of the story: I, as field commander in Riptide northeast disk, the pirate disk, ordered marines to hold the west cave entrance so we could get req access via beacon, among other things. Most marines were out or running out of ammo, and without holding the entrance we can't get people back via pods as well. After making several announcements for it, the captain then tries to get marines to ignore my orders via announcements and hold disk instead. The reason I'm complaining about this is because the ticket in the round was ignored and not replied to, but the admin next round told me to bring it here if anything. The relevant rule being rule 5, and then under precedent for rule 5.

Share my side of story which includes the events prior to the marines being at the disk area itself.

I woke up mid round and observed that the FC had setup shop near the cave entrance a bit inwards. At this time they had 2/3 disks. This had setup an extensive "FOB" at the entrance with reinforced barricades all around. After observing the altercation for some time and seeing the xeno force and what we had I recommended they packup the shop and advance towards the final disk and secure it. They did and they were able to kill a handful of xenos and secure the objective. They spent quite a bit of time holding the disk area without much pause or issues. Throughout the disk holding phase I continued to issue hold orders on the disk computer itself as I saw multiple marines peeling off trying to push south, deeper into the cave towards nuke area. About 7 minutes later the FC decided to recall our forces at the disk area and have everyone pull back to cave entrance meanwhile the marines where holding the objective without any problems.

Half the marine force at this point followed the FC and a skeleton crew stayed behind to try and complete the final disk. They were subsequently overrun and killed and then the xeno force proceeded to advance towards the remaining marine force with the FC and that's pretty much the rest of the round.

After reviewing the round's logs, the captain at no point directly told the marines to ignore your orders, which would be a big no no if they did.

In this situation, it mostly falls into a miscommunication/disagreement between the two of you, which resulted in the marines splitting and wiping.

Unless you have anything else to add, I'd call this an IC issue that should have been solved in character.
