Ban reason: Opened multiple (perhaps five) nitrous oxide canisters around the station. Claimed to only have touched on in ahelp (maybe some confusion) but also touched /only/ nitrous oxide canisters. Don't buy the innocence, has a centcom record for griefing going back to 2021 and five occasions of griefing in 70 hours on tg already. Seems to have started up here shortly after a fulp permaban. No thanks.

Your side of the story: As mentioned in the ban reason I did go around opening canisters around the station which I only did to alleviate boredom. Which I now know is quite stupid and silly and honestly don't know why I thought it was a good idea, but I didn't have any intentions of griefing or ruining peoples games, as I was just going around fiddling with stuff and just opening any canister I saw. I wasn't specifically targeting the nitrous oxide canisters either, I didn't even know what they were and still don't know, I was just opening anything I saw as some sort of a prank as I think I was playing as a clown at that time (Don't really remember) and as I mentioned before I fully accept the fact that me doing that was and is a stupid move and that I have learned from it. The fact of my record for griefing is true as in I have technically griefed, but in my defense none of the times I did grief were intentional. I'm just incredibly incompetent. I never want to ruin anyones game while playing SS13 as I think that it's just not fun if no ones having fun except you and I quite usually feel bad if I do accidently just flat out ruin someones fun.
Why you think you should be unbanned: Yes, I may have been wildly incompetent, but since taking a break from SS13 for 3 months now I think I've learned from my mistakes and will now think extra hard before doing anything that could be even mildly considered as griefing. Also I had been banned from fulp around the time I was still learning the in's and outs of SS13 and how to act accordingly, it wasn't my intention after being perma banned there to come over here and wreck havoc. I promise from here on to follow the rules to the dot and if I ever do end up doing even something that slightly goes over the edge I fully accept the fact that I may be perma banned again. Also the fact that TG is the only server left that I still have fun playing on means I'll be extra careful not to be banned.
References of good conduct: Since being perma banned on TG I have played wee bit of TestShip, yogstation, VG/station and CEV Eris and haven't received any warning or ban on any of them.

Certainly not all nitrous oxide, but do all contain nitrous oxide. You seem pretty aware of what you're doing largely, and I wonder what the greeen connector port you wrenched the canister to was feeding.
Of note there seem to be 6 distinct cannisters in play here, maybe more, not too sure what the identifier (the 0x20123456 part) is in cases of e.g. connecting to ports, but the object identifiers for the opening of cannisters contain 6 distinct addresses.
Overall the perma is a result of your bigger record, the ban from me and the ban you acquired the day before and an event with a plasma toilet at the start of the month, to quote myself "5 griefing occasions in 70 hours", combined with your global history here https://centcom.melonmesa.com/viewer/view/xynorex which shows you as a ongoing griefer in 2022 accumulating two permabans on other servers and "doing the rounds" and moving on to the new server each time. As such I cut your tour on terry somewhat short.
However, to quote you, "but since taking a break from SS13 for 3 months now I think I've learned from my mistakes" doesn't seem to hold up as you were caught making a ban evasion attempt about 4-6 hours before you filed this appeal.
As such I'm not going to think too hard about this one, I decline this appeal, you may re-appeal on the 1 year anniversary of your permaban and please use the intervening time to build up a reasonable number of hours without similar incidents on a server that will provide vouches to TG.
