Ran a "Departmental uprising" event last night. Went shockingly well, one of Engineering was a traitor and they did a good job trying to protect him from sec, who responded with a fucking Gygax. Nobody over-escalated or over-played their hand.

Right, I don't know why I thought it was a Gygax, CE was whining all shift about having his guts drilled out.

That event was pretty fun, I would say it went well but it wasn't the *best.* I'm pretty happy that from what people have said after it, they think it helped the round more than hurt it, which I'd agree with. People RP'd it well and it was escalated great, I'm glad it didn't end up being horrible for everyone involved.

Has been running an iterative event off and on in which they spawn “mysterious rifts” leading to a dark place full of monsters and loots, including shit in the walls to make extra spooky noises and an unkillable shadow beast you have no choice but to run from. I won’t spoil the best bits, but it’s been quite fun, and especially working as a very “opt in” event more than anything there’s nothing but compliments from me here.
