before last thursday, when you put a defensive ability on your bar, don't use it, and execute your turn, the skill that the defensive was overlaid on top of was consumed as if you had attacked with it. the sinner's skills use a deck system, so by doing this you got 2 skills out of your hand in 1 turn instead of only 1. this was only particularly necessary for optimizing your turns-to-kill since you could get access to your high-power skills at double the pace compared to normal (in an optimal situation).
