Your side of the story: In all honesty i can't really remember much from that account two years ago. I got back into SS13 and made a new account as i forgot the name and password for the previous one and started playing TG only to later get banned (Apologies for the unintentional ban-evasion i had honestly forgot) And i simply just want to go back to playing TG as it's one of the bigger SS-13 servers
Why you think you should be unbanned: I feel i should get this opportunity to return as it's been over two years since the ban and i've matured alot since then. Additionally i do feel the ban was unintentionally a permanent ban as it's not worded as a permanent ban. If i come back i'll be playing as a almost entirely new person and not at all like i used to previously play
References of good conduct: I'm a Senior (legacy) mentor over on CM-13 and could easily source a recommendation from admin staff there if required. Additionally my note history over there only has a few entries of extremely minor issues. I'm also staff myself on a new upcoming fallout-13 server and could source a recommendation from it's host if need-be.
Anything else we should know: Don't think i'm not putting much effort into my appeal because it's some-what short. I have issues writing appeals and applications like this and usually fall short when it comes to words and the such.

The link between your accounts is very clear in our database, so your evasion would have been discovered as part of this appeal anyway. Due to your upfront honestly, I will accept your reasoning that it was accidental but put on record that my own cynicism doubts this. As a result, I'm just going to ignore it because that is more convenient for me in light of your honesty.

As for the ban itself, it looks like you just treated Manuel as your own singleplayer powergaming sandbox, running roughshod over the myriad of rules we have in place to encourage and draw players into interesting IC interactions just so you could win harder.

I've reached out to CM in the super esclusive cool kids' club (also known as host chat) with the following question:

They were permabanned 2 years ago for treating our relatively new RP server as their own single player win-harder powergaming sandbox with multiple notes and escalating bans over 4 months (where they spent a third of that time banned).

How has their time on CM-13 been as a mentor in the above context?

One of their team offered to get back to me with an answer in the morning. If you've been a good community member over there I'm more than happy to offer you a second chance here on tg.

While the CM team get back to me, I do have a bone to pick with you - And this comes up a lot with chronic shitters that get permabanned and then have a redemption arc on another ckey - Letting you play on Atomic Galaxy would lose your note and ban history and the context for your historic play, unless I manually transferred over your history piece by piece.

Ordinarily our notes fade with age prompting any admins viewing them to explicitly hit "see more" to reveal them. Such notes and bans would appear fresh on your account as if they were placed the day I unbanned you if I had to transfr them over - Which isn't ideal for you if you believe your past days of shittery are far behind you.

And it sucks for me because it's pointless, boring, monotonous busywork I'd rather avoid if possible.

If the CM team comes back without anything negative to say about your recent-ish time there, would you be able to return on the ckey Dyinglight or is Atomic Galaxy your only account now?

A follow up for you to help me with:

Further investigations have drawn up that you were permabanned from Interstation 12 in January for power gaming issues. They reported that you constantly spent time just gathering equipment, trying to "win" with nebulous goals and generally being a very poor fit for an RP server.

While tg has a number of LRP servers where this may not be as much of an issue (it's still a toxic playstyle that drags the level of any server down though), it is telling that what caused you to be banned from here was doing the very same stuff on our (then only) RP server.

What is your side of this story? It naturally raises concerns for me.

IS-12 was a long time ago and i had even gotten WLed over there at one point. I think i ended up getting burned out so i turned to the more combat side of IS-12 to keep myself playing (Especially on Redlin which was around my ban and when first introduced the only thing to do was fight guards and try to escape) I do agree that i probably became a little shitty over there at some point but i never saw myself as power-gaming and i can't remember much from what i used to do back on IS-12
One thing i will say though is that i wasn't told the ban was permanent and that it was just a 2-3 week ban to take a break and come back

Right. I've put a very decent amount of thought into this.

CM came back with a very strong vouch and I want to believe you've more than done your time for the original ban reason back in 2020. So I will unban you.

The next question is can you return on your original Dyinglight account? I'd rather not have to spend time transferring over parts of your note history to a new account if I can reasonably avoid it.

I'm Very sorry but i cannot return to that account or log in as i cannot get the password in any way. (i've tried many times before making this new account) i'm extremely sorry about any excess work required in transfering over tickets but any attempt i've made to log into the original account has failed and resetting the password won't work either as the Email that was used isn't one i use anymore . I'll try again a few more times to see if i can access the account again but i'm most likely going to be unable to access it

Your old account has been unbanned for this incident, and then re-banned as an alt because we ban the old account if players change ckeys. (It's buried on our rules page)

Atomic Galaxy has had the core part of your Dyinglight note history transferred onto it (4 months of notes/bans before your perma) and has been crosslinked as an alt account of Dyinglight for record keeping purposes.
