Your side of the story: To begin I think the information displayed in the note is inaccurate. First off before doing anything to the jani I asked him to leave and stop mopping and he didn't. Second off I took the pimpin ride myself and spaced it then after the borg went to recover it I told him to put it back. The janitor was also the one to attack me first and I don't think I ever critted, let alone killed him.
Why you think you should be unbanned: I think the ban is unfair as I believe it to be proper escalation and even if I don't get unbanned I would at least like the note updated to better reflect what actually happened.

Hey, thanks for appealing. I don't plan on lifting this as the facts you put forward don't change anything.
Your interactions with the janitor were extremely hostile from the get-go. All the janitor was trying to do was mop up blood in the bar, aka "his job". The only real interaction you had with him before spacing his gear was the following:
There was a bit of a shoving match after this where you were shoved down a few times after you shoved him. Everything before this point is fine - he entered your space without your permission and you wanted him removed. I strongly believe that your initial interaction (or lack thereof) sets up hostility between you two where it doesn't belong. It would have been so much easier to just say "Hey, please don't mop here", but no. You insult him and tell him to fuck off then shove him. Then, after all of this happens, you space the gear he needs to do his job. Admittedly, another one could be ordered through cargo, but that's beside the point.
A few minutes later, he comes back to try and settle things. I can't really blame him for being upset at this point, especially considering that the majority of your interaction has been you insulting him, then ordering a borg to space his janicart once he's managed to retrieve it. You've basically started the fight at this point for an extremely flimsy reasoning. He comes back and shoves you down, then kicks you a few times. You respond by escalating immediately to lethals after you beanbag shell him. He manages to get up and throw a light tube at you in self-defense. The fight could end at pretty much any point here, especially around when the borg flashes you, but you continue to attack him despite escalation pretty much halting.
I'm going to stop with logs here because the rest is honestly irrelevant. You guys fight a few more times and you end up critting him via blood loss.
The reason for the ban is twofold: Your reasoning behind starting the fight is frankly laughable, and your refusal to even consider taking a break and discussing things with this guy who is literally just doing his job is pretty ridiculous. LRP servers are LRP, not NRP. The two days were one for directly resulting in the janitor's death and another for having previous issues with escalation.
A headmin can review this but I'm not lifting it. Please learn how to act like an adult if you're going to play here. I will edit the note to be more accurate to what happened, but it doesn't change much.
