Your side of the story: Around the time the role ban was placed I messed with command and sec frequently because I thought it was funny to fuck with people that have sticks up their ass. However, I never took the first swing nor did I permanently cripple their round afterwards (i.e. steal cap's ID for AA and then give it back); at worst I would stamcrit whoever is chasing me, take a baton or something, and run off. This isn't even particularly heavy greytiding compared to B&E to steal cap's spare or similarly important items, and this was common practice among all (Bagil) greyshirts. Also around this time, CoffeeDragon16 was particularly assmad about AA leaks, and would lunge at anyone who disables command staff without fail and without considering context. They did this to Jackrip and to me leading to me getting the note which this role ban is entirely based upon (https://atlantaned.space/banbus/ticket/953532e45606d713) as armhulenn confessed in PM's:

Yeah. Greytiding is fine, but it's always excessive and you were told to tone it down

I think this role ban was based on a note that was heavily exaggerated. Since (technically) the note isn't the main point of this ban (despite being the main reason for it) I can't talk about it so I will instead bring up the fact that my behavior wasn't an outlier compared to the average seasoned player's behavior. If Sunshine Day, Dean Ivanov, Axle Brady, Korol Konets (F), Zachary Chester (F), Ron Lemon, etc. etc. don't get assistant bans, I don't see why I should. If their behavior was breaking the rules, then it means that the administrative staff had their heads up their ass for a year straight. Otherwise, it means that their behavior more or less followed the rules. Therefore, if I played like they did, I didn't break the rules. I didn't constantly break in and steal important station items like cap's spare or hypospray, I didn't break into brig or armory to distribute weapons (other than something like nukie/blob rounds when sec are being idiots), I didn't even regularly kill people other than dead-to-rights antags because killing someone instantly puts you in the crosshair of an admin. At worst I was a nuisance that would steal a sec's stun baton because he chased me halfway around the station for calling him gay, and then have a goose chase with sec because he went back and cried to mommy HoS.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I'm bored with playing cargo so I finally got around to writing this appeal. I want to get back to playing assistant because it takes more skill than most jobs.

The appeal was straight up not convincing so I'm gonna ignore that. Your post ban history wasn't as good as I was hoping, many cases of randomly smashing shit up and getting into dumb fights. Your playtime hasn't been very active (1 half month break, 2 full month breaks) to the point where I cannot be convinced you play consistently without the aforementioned escalation problems

I confess: I expect a much better improvement before I am the one lifting the ban.

Having said the above I do not want the "appeal again in a year for permaban" clause to apply, it probably doesn't have to be that long, I just want to see some consistent play (January - early April) with decent note avoidance (late April - Now). The issue is that those times don't overlap, so to conceptualize the "better improvement" just play consistently for awhile without trouble and I'll lift it

I've been playing on Eris and Burgerstation (and maybe a few other obscure stations) instead of /tg/ for a while, particularly within the timeframe of "decent note avoidance." I've gotten absolutely no administrative reprimands from either of the servers.

Now we're talking! I'll go and check, if after your playtime drops off you've been playing fairly consistently without trouble elsewhere that'd be enough to convince me to lift the ban
