Delete #politics-containment on the official discord V2

Since my my original post got no headmin-ruling and was locked/purged i'm remaking it.

My original points still stand. Over the months since that post it's obvious the channels are supported by the admins who post almost exclusively there and curate a meta-friend group within the tgstation Discord. These channels regularly host rule-breaking content, particularly rule 11 and yet admins turn a blind eye to it. Containment threads do not work and you're making excuses when you use them to justify it's existence.

Funny how the NTR-hut had to be deleted yet these channels with support from the admin team (despite numerous incidents stemming directly from their existence) continue to thrive.

I don't care about your metagang, if I hear about happenings in the tgstation politics-containment chat in OTHER SS13 server Discords then it is an issue. Follow your own rules or discard them completely. Or have a player host an "unofficial" politics Discord that you can pretend isn't connected at all to tgstation.

Against this. I don't want heavy discussions to leak onto other channels so people gets banned left and right just because they felt the need to voice their thoughts. Politics-containment is serving its purpose and it's good where it is.

I have personally banned more people than any other admin on the discord and every one of them other than one (that I can remember) came from someone posting some stupid shit in a politics channel.
