Why you think you should be unbanned: Started round as a chemist, went to grab both tools and the metal so I could set up an efficient factory that makes healing meds, other chemist gets annoyed at the fact that I got them first and instead of asking nicely for one, starts talking about how Im a nigger and how I don't need all of the supplies (For reference, each of the Synthesizers costs 25/200 material, and it takes a full stack of metal to refill a plumbing tool. There are a max of 26 chems, which equals 650/200 so just over both plumbing tools and a stack of metal. This doesnt include any of the reaction chambers needed to actually use these chems.) He walks away and I continue setting up the factory. He storms back in and tries to splash a beaker of acid onto one of the chem synths. I knock him down and kill him, (Didnt have any non lethal options, and I wasnt risking getting a face of acid) but bring him straight to get healed, and restrained. Didnt break any of the rules, he started the fight and I didn't steal anything off him. He also didnt ask for one back, and Its not that I didnt want to get metal, I dont want to be the asshat that takes all the metal from the lathe at the start of the round, and I dont want to run around gathering stacks of metal unless I absolutely have to.

denied, someone else can post logs if they want. you more or less got in a very one sided fight with the guy just because you didn't want to share the tools that were meant to be shared. (there's two plumbing tools so each chemist can get one, not so you can have all of them). like c'mon man, you learned sharing in kindergarten. it's like if i take all the PKAs as a shaft miner and kill the other miners for wanting them back. go sit out a day and reread the rules.

Alright well, one there is a VERY limited amount of materials and space for plumbing on all maps, two, there is a clear difference in taking something that has infinite ammo without having to take supplies from the station and having a limited amount of supplies. It'd be more like taking two bluespace capsules when there are only 2 miners, sure its a bit annoying but so long as he can still do his job he has no right to try and take it
Edit: Actually I thought of a better way of explaining it. Its like a scientist getting to xenobio first. Sure there are two consoles, but I think anyone who has played xenobio knows that there is no point in having two people, and it can actually be less efficient. Doesnt matter how much you want to do it, you happened to be there last. Coming back and trying to destroy the console and calling someone a fucking nigger is IC justification for pacification, and death if there is no nonlethal option

It was Delta station. Stacks of metal and glass can be found literally everywhere. And in this case, your fellow chemist can’t do their job because they don’t have the only thing they can do it with.

You can get metal from the techfabs as they’re linked to the orm. I believe several stacks of metal spawns in delta’s factory by default.

The dispenser is not really equivalent to a factory setup If you are using the factory to automate processes like heating, filtering, etc. It would be equivalent if the user was just trying to perform macros with reaction chambers and synths.

Not related to the situation but wanted to clarify chemistry (plumbing) mechanics since it was brought up.

This is still denied, if in the future you play chemistry I’d recommend not taking both plumbing tools unless the other chemist is cool with it.
