Your side of the story: I loaded into the new round with my clown character and had begun to pick up my items from the chest when the mime pushed me over, stealing said items, pieing me, then hit me I started to attack him as he had just wasted all of my equipment and pushed me over, He began to attack back and the fight escalated in him stabbing me with a bottle and I beat him, and he died, I began to take him towards the medbay when I began to notice a crowd of security and hid the body preparing to take him out when there was nobody around, I was soon messaged by staff and banned after a small chat with the banning admin
Why you think you should be unbanned: I believe I should be unbanned, as for such a minor infraction a perminate ban is quite a lot, I killed the mime for stealing my equipment and I have from what I can infer from the rules which Ive red previously, and recently that If someone steals the person who has been robbed can instigate further attacking said players, I believe this was more than enough to instigate an attack against him, especially after he began to attack me further, I did not intentionally kill him, but only did upon him stabbing and hitting be with a bottle of nothing, I understand although this is a petty reason to attack someone that I may not have the best record but I do truly wish to play on the server, and do not intend on griefing if I wanted to grief I wouldn't be making an appeal but I truly enjoy playing TG station and do not wish to be banned for such a small incident, Im not sure if I have a large record with staff but according to my ban message I do, this isn't my intent to come across as a griefer and I Do apologize from my actions in escolating theft to murder.
My reasoning behind why I feel murdering him was not necessarily against the rules.
You may instigate conflict with another player within reason (you can't completely destroy their department, kill them unprovoked, or otherwise take them out of the round for long periods of time) but they are entitled to respond with violence. If you think it's unfair or excessive they killed you for taking their ID, consider not stealing next round.
References of good conduct: I have not played on other servers as I only play on TG, that is why I am appealing my ban.
