I was in town with my friends and I was showing them space station 13. We all picked assistants and I was trying to show him (kai77) how the game works. So yeah there was meta communication and greytide stupidity. It was toward the end of the round and none of us were selected as traitor so we weren't actually trying to accomplish anything but I understand completely why we were banned and looking back there was a much smarter way to do it, like just letting him play and watching over his shoulder. I apologize sincerely and I would just like to be able to show my friend this amazing game.

Showing them the rules page might be a better start, and having a read over it yourself wouldn't hurt.

Metacomms is is punished severely for a reason. You understand why, right? Especially when you or your friends use it to gang up on people.

Yes I understand why. IIRC he did attack someone and again, I apologize. I should have explained to him the way the game works more clearly.
