Am I the only one... (wiki related)

who keeps the wiki page up while doing some of the more 'recipe/specific sequence' based jobs? Like Chemist or Chef, I can barely memorize any of the combos and need to constantly check the Wiki page to remember. Or do 'most' of you have the recipes they used memorized? (This also applies to say, Robotics and Surgery.)

(Though with Chef I also keep the page up for 'getting ideas to make variety' reasons on top of the whole 'need recipes' thing.)

I use wiki for chemistry, bar and kitchen, more advanced mechs like durands that require parts from R&D, other surgeries except brain surgery and slime evolutions if I'm going for a specific breed of slime.

I've memorized deconstructing reinforced walls to the point where I don't feel stupid if I get few steps wrong, just spam all the tools.

But yeah, using the wiki is required to play the game.

I feel like over time you start to memorize the recipes and stuff you use the most. I can make most basic alcoholic drinks and food recipes from memory, as well as apendectomy and debraining surgery.

It is better to at least try to memorize things. Constantly tabbing out to the wiki is slow and bad roleplay if you are interacting with others

Here is a protip, space law books open the wiki page in game. You can use this to access the entire wiki from within the book, effectively making space law a complete encyclopedia of spaceman knowledge

I've memorised some surgical procedures, chemistry recipes, and what nearly everything does, but I use the Wiki to fill in the gaps when I'm making something else.

I still can't remember the recipe for alkysine & ryetalyn.

If you have the Wiki open and learn that something is different from what you see...edit the wiki! Fun fact, if you can post on the forums, you can edit the wiki! Also, I need to take my own advice, I have not even added my OWN changes to it...
