The new shuttle chairs look like ass

I want to gauge how many people agree with this statement.

They look extremely out of place and they don't even look like a chair when you're looking at it's front.

They might look cool on syndie color scheme shuttles, also they're huge and you're completely hidden if you sit in the north-facing seats and you're not wearing a sombrero or something.

Really don't like them either, the sprite is too noisy, don't fit the cheap/retro look and they make people almost impossible to target or even see when buckled and facing up

@Lumbermancer heaters weren't added for no reason; they were added to fit the 3/4 perspective of the game. though the actual design of them sucks ass ree they should be retro not fucking star trek heaters

3/4th is one of, if not the most autistic methods of displaying items in this game. It can't handle depth at all, and has mostly been an excuse to PR shittier sprites in just because "much 3/4ths."

Air Alarms are still the same old ones, it's the Analyzer they changed like 5 times.
I'm all in for old heaters, these new heaters look like fucking ionic breeze bullshit and its just weird.
Pretty okay with the vendors and toolboxes though

Oh yeah and the new new chairs are okay now

I still believe that the whole 3/4 thing started as a joke that got out of hand. Some of the earlier replacement sprites were so bad it could only have been intentional. And some of the worst ones made it through without being changed.

It wouldn't be the first time that a coder made a joke PR but people didn't get it and the coder let it be processed, approved and merged just to see how far it would go.

Yeah, if you consider that a lot of the older "retrofuturistic" sprites were made in the late 2000s, it isn't so much "retro" as the exact brand of outdatedness you'd expect of a shitty office building, but in space.

I'm aware, but the overlay still needs to be as a sprite. You'd need to seperate them or make some kind of masking manually and import it into the dmi. It's not automatic.
