Not sure how I totally feel about this. Its definitely not negative OR positive, its a bit of both. Although it might be more negative if EVERYONE i killed just so happened to be antag due to this.

During a traitors round, Nabski decided that giving someone a fully functioning cult TC trade was a good idea. This ended up, OF COURSE, snowballing hard as fuck and leading to more cultists than traitors, and cultists armed with Deswords, emags, and stetchkins. As security, the number of times I got attacked by multiple hostiles was astounding, and due to the chaplain being dead / perma being literally emagged to shit, I had to perform executions left and right (HOS and Cap were incompetent, wouldnt give me orders to the contrary, couldnt safely contain the prisoners.)

Im not totally positive because it seems like Nabski gave sec some leeway, i killed at least 15 people between exections and summoning kills, so either no one ahelped or Nabski was getting all three admins on at the time to say "sorry valid". Either way, this is a BAD!!!! Tc trade, spawning more antagonsits on top of traitors in high pop is hell.

You were ahelped MULTIPLE times actually. A few of which were rather valid. But yes security was given some leeway that they normally wouldn't get.

While from a security perspective it was a more stressful round from we had a high number of early dead/ghosts who were all enjoying the solocultist show. The chaplain was actually a bit of a hero that round and when there were radio calls going out that the moth was a cult was one of the only people fighting back against him. Also no-one ever made any attempt to order implants that round from cargo.

Not informed about silicon policy at all. Left a note on my account about denying a captain upload access during a round where security was both 1: hunting for revs and 2: harming people over it.
As per silicon policy, which he should know, I can deny any head or sec access based on probable cause of human harm laws with presence of anti-station antags. I informed Nabski that he should know that in ticket. Left a note anyways.
Should know your shit through and through, or be willing to admit youre wrong when it is displayed correctly to you, to be an admin.

Deleted the drone shell dispenser when I asked in OOC for someone to fill it, denying me and anyone else who wanted to play drone the opportunity. So in other words, affected several other people besides just me. Stated they were aware of such after I ahelped to find out why it was deleted. If I didn't know better, I'd say they were acting on their grudge, which would be pretty unprofessional.

As for asking for someone to fill the drone dispenser, I've asked previously in other rounds, and other admins have okay'd it. Same with announcing there's a pAI active and ready to be claimed.

Asking in OOC for somebody to do something IC...and you see no issue with this.

Asking in OOC for somebody to do something IC...and you see no issue with this.

Like I said, I've previously ahelped before doing this, and other admins have said it's okay. The point I'm trying to make is that Nabksi straight up deleted the drone shell dispenser.

I would've asked you not to talk about the current round in OOC, and I can't say I wouldn't have deleted the dispenser.

Talking about the round in deadchat is fine, talking about it in OOC is not.

I've heard other admins say "pAI available is okay" but saying "posibrain available" is not. Not sure what the difference is since both imply you're open to a ghost role. I'd prefer a ban on both of them.

It's a bit of an esoteric rule and I can't even remember where I heard it but prompting people to enable ghost roles (specifically, asking for somebody to use a pAI or make a drone) is (or at least was at some point) technically allowed. I personally don't really have much of an opinion on it.

I'm all for a discussion on this topic, but that's for a policy thread, not feedback. This is solely about the deletion of the drone shell dispenser.

If any other admins want to note me for asking about the drone shell dispenser, I'll take the note. I just feel it was a step too far when the shell dispenser was deleted, denying EVERYONE access to drones, not just me. Also worth mentioning that Nabski deleted the dispenser BEFORE even sending me an admin messages, which I had to prompt via ahelp. I'm no admin, but I'm pretty sure a bwoink is more appropriate than deletion.

lmao gave a ten minute ban for 'ban baiting style ahelp' when it wasn't like that at all, I just didn't provide info that I didn't think was relevant especially considering circumstances in which the incident had started.

mostly because, you know, it wasn't really relevant. Because I guess slipping and cuffing a person, but standing stark still and attempting to cooperate with security and explain yourself is 'kidnapping' these days.

This is a opinion but I don't think you should press this button during a wiz round. It makes for a very confusing "event" round.

I don't have any interaction with them as far as a person, this is just feedback so I hope you understand that it isn't anything personal.

The Revs were actually on the station before the wizard had left their ship. The spawning of additional antagonists was a condition of me giving the wizard plasmafist.

This turned into a massive administrative headache as the wizard then took the power to summon skeletons.

When the next headmins come around I'm going to push to get them to declare a solid policy on conversion and solo antags so that alot of the mess doesn't happen. I actually watched as the revhead managed to get himself armed out of the armory by asking and talking so that was a plus.

I did spawn an ERT to try to relieve some of the pressure on command/security.

Gonna have to agree here with the above.
While I was not giving out all access, I was in fact the captain of that round.
No indication whatsoever that the round would be anything but normal. Not even a peep AFTER deadchat salt to inform other heads / the borgs that there was a revolution going on (I say other because almost as soon as he pressed the button, 4 people got rev status and killed the RD and I)
He then followed UP to the deadchat salt by spawning a rev, and TAKING IT AWAY.
Then pressed several response team buttons, but I dont know what spawned of them. One said nuclear team and one said nanotrasen response. Not a good round

Wasn't very friendly handling an ahelp about me. I kinda felt made out to be some bad guy, even though I tried reasoning it out with them.
They also didn't seem to try to want to (is that a good sentence?) come to an understanding or look for alternatives, and jumped straight to a 3-week ban. Had hoped for a bit more communication before doing that.
They did lower it to 1 week shortly after as they said they were feeling nice, which I appreciated. But I felt a ban was a bit hasty, and that a simple warning would've sufficed.
Of course, that's from my perspective.

Yeah, it's a really minor one, which is why I'm not appealing it.
It just leaves a bit of a sour taste to jump right into a ban rather than simply a warning, which would've had the same outcome.

Nice guy and decent with administrative things from what I've experienced and seen respectively, but seriously needs to get in touch with his buttons. Turned some of the heads of staff into Traitors during a Revolution round; the round immediately after this was a relatively low-pop Wizard round in which he gave the Wizard's apprentice Dragon Form and Summon Friends. Not a highly consequential event in the grand scheme of things, but a frustrating couple of rounds for what seemed like almost everyone involved; definitely not something I'd be super eager to see more of.

One of the heads of the revolution decided to go to security and try to "broker a peace". This was unique enough that I decided to allow it but it heavily put the favor to the heads of staff. I did not make the heads of staff into traitors until the shuttle had been docked for 10 minutes. Neither of the remained revheads were actively flashing and after making a command report about what departments they were in decided to make the heads traitors to try to move things along.

The wizard had to DC at the start of the shift, so I offered his body to ghosts for a moment to avoid round end due to no antags (which isn't a thing outside revolution whoops). I then felt bad for the guy who got tempted with wizard but didn't get to keep it so he became the apprentice and got two bonus spells that I thought would be unique and interesting. Summon friend was picked it let another player get in on the fun, and dragon form because it's rare. Sadly they started with the hijack objective.

Duuuuuuude. That's a No-No. Turning antagonists into megafauna was the hill alphonzo died on.

But otherwise pretty good, most active admin by FAR. Always on terry, usually the only one. Pretty active on all servers in general. What would we do without the admin that has double the connections then all the rest.

Well, if that was just a KOR thing then I guess that's not an issue anymore. But If it was during Kor headmin term, dragon forms even worse! You can turn back human and go hide and junk, or heal up. Also stealthily fuck people over! Edit: But that would be pretty fun for a stealth wizard build.

full story:

>clown ops forced by another admin
>they declare war
>nabski spawns a wizard
>other admins are not okay with that

when you do this it affects the round a shitload and causes a lot of frustration

imagine how the warops feel, they had no idea there was a wizard or ert when they docked, and clownops has to be forced so there's also probably going to be salt there because you can only get that role if an admin forces it and you win the die roll

imagine the crew, they're busy prepping for ops, they don't expect a wizard to show up and start killing people

spawning an ert to get people back into the round is a bandaid solution that just turns the round into even more of a mess

please please please stop pushing buttons and consider the round before you do, if you want to spawn in a wizard then force the round to wizard, don't wait until the ops declare war and then start to push buttons - there's a difference between meta breaking and just being far far too button happy

Had an "event" in which he hand-picked 36ish people to be blood brothers, including a derelict drone and round-start security officer. Also mysteriously disappeared before the ahelps started flooding in about the event, leaving it all to Imsxz.

Dang it, I was one away from the second page.

The event followed two nuke ops in a row + a crashed round so I was trying to do something special. The first sections of pairings were lowest hours on the server players with highest hours. After that it I was just going around the station trying to pair people with whomever they interacted with. Having to go was unfortunate because I wanted to see how it played out, but something came up in real life.

Drone + engineer was because the drone was upgrading machinery right next to the guy, and I even gave him dronespeak so they could communicate. I included two security members because I've gotten feedback that mass antag rounds suck for security.

I'll just make this a general comment instead of anything specific.

Needs to chill with the events. Spamming the create antag buttons aren't very creative or interesting every other round. Also has a tendency to do "events" whenever he's not an antagonist, which feels like a holdover from when he wasn't an admin and would afk whenever he wasn't an antagonist.

I'm sure this will be disregarded, as he and I are known to dislike each other.

For reference, the "events" for the night were.

Let a player become a security borg. It required captain/HOS request to centcomm, an ed-209, and their brain. For extra scrutiny there was an extra announcement at the end to make sure they didn't break their laws since I didn't watch them all shift.

I told ghosts on an announced extended they could do a trader event with a ship. They requested magical traders. I got two people interested and made them understand and agree they were to stick at the ship and if they needed something particularly special ahelp for the trade. One of them hit summon events guns and magic and I just sighed as there was no fixing that mess. I ended up giving them a fireball spell and polymorph wand for customers. This was an unmitigated disaster but I'm not unhappy about having tried to do it.

An enhanced security report naming the exact type and number of antags (3 lings and 6 traitors).

An alien hunter, which I then gave split personality. Then an alien hunter hunter. Neither did very well.

I gave a pickaxe to a player stuck in lavaland walls because they prayed. They continued interacting with the gods and I eventually gave them a quest to use a gorilla syringe on the captain. I think they managed it.

A haunted bar of soap, it spun and would move and casually try to slip people.

Changed the nickname of a player who was trying to make Firstname 'Nickname' Lastname a thing on this server, as I think that's bad naming form. It was very unflattering.

And that's it for things I spawned/did during approximately 6 hours worth of rounds for the evening.

I mean obviously I'm not going to do event's when I'm an antag. That would be retarded.

I wasn't referring specifically to tonight's events.

There's a joke I heard in ooc. "How do you know if Gene Ball is antag?" "If he's moving." The underlying meaning is that you play only for antag and frequently went afk if you didn't get it before you were an admin. Now instead of going afk, you can admin and do events.

The joke isn't very funny because I had to explain it.

Nah it's a good joke, with a touch of truth. I was just annoyed because I've been actively trying to move away for create antag events as often. I really thought the wizqrd traders would go over well for announced extended, but hey player thought up player messed up it was worth a try.

the rules wrote:Rule 3 Precedents.
Excessively OOC names fall under rule 3. Make a minimum effort to have your name fit in a setting involving a wacky space station in the future. A firstname lastname minimum is required and no honorifics are allowed. Nicknames in the middle are ok. Admins may get involved if your name is dumb and can approve or disallow names at their discretion while ingame.
