Why you think you should be unbanned: To be honest, that was a stupid decision on my part and i'm just gonna own up to it and say that i'm sorry.

I was the one who ahelped the law change. I only saw the AI laws at round end, but I had to weld both the siphon and the vent in botany shut due to breathing in plasma while over the vent and due to the siphon getting rid of all the oxygen. I made huge combustible lemons to fight the blob since it seemed like everybody else was dead and was getting ready for a last ditch war effort when I ran into darkened burnt hallways full of high pressure, hot combusted air and couldn't go further. I saw some other survivors too, but they couldn't do much due to the darkness, the blobbernauts, and the heat.

Fire does not help kill blobs, ESPECIALLY when it's made to burn parts of the station where the blob isn't even there. The blob is surrounded by strong blob tiles that prevent atmos effects from leaking, which means that fire will never burn the 9 tiles centered around the blob's core. There is also a strain of blob where it grows when it's exposed to fire. All fire really does is fuck up everybody else trying to fight the fire. Setting the entire station on fire is worse than bombing the blob.

I'm not sure if you were a head, since the HoP was handing out all access to fight the blob, but changing the AI's laws is a very, very dangerous thing to do as a non-antag.

Anyways, I'm not sure about your history, and comms went down fairly early into the round so I don't know everything that happened, but I just wanted to make sure you knew exactly what was wrong with what you did and why the admin looked into you. Up to the admins to determine if this appeal works.

Yeah, that was a real shit show I caused. I had thought changing the atmos would affect the blob, but in the end it was just stupid.

I'm not involved but... This seems like an honest mistake. Lots of people still think Plasma/Fire kills is effective to use on Blobs, without realizing how it could negatively impact the crew until it happens.
Why couldn't this have just been a warning.
