Big box of fuckers like these are perfect. Not "strike anywhere" matches either. Those heads contain more bullshit that'll sour your smoke.

EDIT: People say Butane lighters burn so cleanly that they don't leave a taste behind. That's bullshit. Fire one of those torches into the air and then smell the air afterwards. They make "soft flame" pipe lighters that use butane to produce a flame similar to what you'd see in a normal lighter or zippo but it's the same general problem.

It's not that wood matches are some kind of super clean burning thing, it's that the taste they impart is pretty neutral. A hint of burned wood in your cigar or tobacco blend is pretty normal compared to the stuff a lighter is going to impart. When striking the match to light a cigar or pipe, allow it to burn for a short moment before applying the flame to your smoke as well. If you strike it and immediately start trying to draw on it you'll get a delicious mouthful of phosphorous and other matchstick catalysts. You want to light your smoke with the burning matchstick, not the head combustion.

Over here we have these shitty flat cardboard ones that come in little paper books, you find em just about anywhere. Honestly i smoke cigars so infrequently anyways, i usually use wooden barbecue matches with the super long handles

And that's kind of true, they gain this quasi-immortality where they're an annoying teenager for the rest of their lives.

If you were doing something just for your own health they wouldn't get all these tattoos, listen to exclusively hardcore bands, shove it in people's faces so much, etc. Straight Edge is just something shallow people do to attention whore.

I got to play a member of the secret service protecting the president today.

I was in the movie only briefly, I spent most of my time helping them setup/teardown and assisting with the lighting, doin' grip thangs.

There's some really awesome folks in the production and I'll try to remember to post a link or something to the whole thing when it's finished.
