Your side of the story: I was in the holodeck minding my own business and I hear some shit being broken, and seconds later an Engineer named Randa Newbern comes in and starts following me around. I tried to talk to her, but she wouldn't have a conversation with me. She corned me in in the holodeck control room and I was unable to move. She pulled me off of the janicart, and I was still unable to move. I disarmed her and climbed back on, but she still wouldn't stop following me around. I hit her twice with a toolbox that I found lying around, trying to get her to leave me alone; this didn't phase her, instead she hits me with an extinguisher. At this point I feel that I am in extreme danger, so I attempt to knock her unconscious, and she hits me twice more in this time. Once she is put into crit, I throw the brute treatment kit at another person who was there so that we could heal her back up.

Why you think you should be unbanned: I was being cornered in by this person who hadn't uttered one word but "nice" to me. This person cornered me into a very narrow space and I was unable to move, so I took the means to defend myself. When she was knocked down, I told the person that witnessed part of the fight to heal her up.
I tried to talk to thatslyfox about this, but as soon as I try to explain my case, he says "You sound guilty friend." I replied and said that I don't give a fuck about how I sound, I'm just trying to tell him about what happened. Then he says, "Sounds like you need to chill for a bit." and he also says "...you also seem tense," then I was banned by him despite telling him that the alleged victim was healed afterwards.

I did try to make conversation with her. She changed the holodeck to the beach after I tried to switch the holodeck to the basketball court but she was very close to me, like she had been pretty much the entire time (only about 1-3 tiles away at any given moment). After I moved from the holodeck control room, she switched it to beach. That's when I said "good choice" because I thought that maybe that's what the only thing she wanted to do. But then I saw that she continued to follow me again, so I went back to the control room to try and outmaneuver her. This is when she cornered me in and then took me off from the janicart. I disarmed her to try and push her down so I could get past and get back onto the cart. I was able to get past her but she again started to follow me, so I hit her once with a toolbox to try and get her to get away from me. She kept following, so I hit her again. Then, she hit me with an extinguisher. I kept trying to run, but every time she got close to me I hit her with the toolbox.

If you can't add anything more, then why not make a decision already? It seems to me like you're grasping at straws here in order to keep your reputation from being damaged, the reputation that is extremely important to maintain while you're under the scrutiny of others as a trial admin.
I digress, however. If you believe that the victim has more to add, then I'm certainly up for it as long as it doesn't take too long to get her to respond; however, I just want to get back to playing 2d spacemen.

I was playing Randa, it was during the time when Sibyl was down, so I was just dicking around on Basil with a random name. I saw Gabe and started following him in circles- just messing around since I don't know Basil's map well and didn't have anything to do.

I wasn't intending to harm him or anything, I was just being random. I didn't take the attacks seriously until I basically went into crit, thus the 'nice'. I was kind of shocked at how, for no apparent reason other than me dicking about with him in the holodeck, he attacked me with the intent to kill.

This is incorrect, I didn't pull you off. You were on the whole time, as far as I could tell.

All in all, I don't really care if he's unbanned. It wasn't a huge issue and I ended up getting healed. I kind of deserved a beating for following him about and being weird, but I didn't feel I deserved it to the level at which it was received.
