The AI doesn't have any obligation to not harm everyone else, so it'll usually take the most sure route to terminating the human (Namely, flood plasma or NO2, cause stationwide inferno or mass euthanasia).Cuboos wrote:I want to one human an anti-mov AI, with the one human being my assassination target.

There is a lot of very bizarre nonsense being talked on this forum. I shall now remain silent and logoff until my points are vindicated.

This would make a cool antag type, something like a "changeling"Luke Cox wrote:I've always wanted to completely assume somebody else's identity as a regular traitor. I mulled over the implications of this in my head and I'm just stunned by its perfection.bandit wrote:One time I proved to the AI that I was a changeling, then immediately antimoved it.Not-Dorsidarf wrote:The AI doesn't have any obligation to not harm everyone else, so it'll usually take the most sure route to terminating the human (Namely, flood plasma or NO2, cause stationwide inferno or mass euthanasia).Cuboos wrote:I want to one human an anti-mov AI, with the one human being my assassination target.
But slime reactions already work in grenades. That's what large grenade cases are for.Vekter wrote:I've always wanted to see what kind of havoc one could wreak given enough bluespace slimes.
I really need to see about making slime reactions go off in grenades...
I keep adding it and people keep taking it away I guess I'll do it again and see if it sticks this time.lumipharon wrote:But slime reactions already work in grenades. Also speaking of bluespace slimes, someone needs to re-add the old plasma - bluespace reaction, the one that would teleport everything in the room to a random beacon.
Shit was great.
Initially it moved APCs or wires or something which caused runtimes.lumipharon wrote:When it first got removed, I was told the reason was 'it caused runtimes'.
This never made any sense to me, because as far as I can tell, it does the exact same thing as the bluespace anom event, except you control where it happens and (sort of) control where it gets teleportered to.
I wish I knew. We have a few sacred jobs like toxins and atmos that can destroy the entire station with little counter but people have a very strict idea of balance otherwise. Especially things that break the mold (nothing else lets you move areas around)lumipharon wrote: How is this OP?

Done something similar to this before. Double agent, teamed up with my target (lawyerbro, told him straight-up the truth, and that I had no intention of completing my objectives). This was in the age of the parapen, and we managed to get both the Captain and the HoS alone in the brig. We parapenned them both, killed them, and replaced them. We looked around in both the permabrig and the gulag for allies (we had spent a good 20 minutes planning and gathering supplies at roundstart), found one, not a traitor but brigged for whatever reason. We let him go with a gun.CPTANT wrote:I so want to replace the captain as a traitor/ling/wizard with hijack, get a buddy as HoS, subvert the AI and then feed the entire station population to the electric chair while they are screaming shitcurity.

This is why the holodeck needs to be in a more central location. (Although I'd prefer if the BURN mode was removed, it's just silly OP).bandit wrote:I want to subvert the AI, have a party in the holodeck, somehow convince the entire crew to come, wait a while, then give the AI the signal to burncarp them all.
