The admin vote is taking a bit longer than originally intended. The player vote will kick into gear once we have the results of the coder and admin votes.

Due to a multitude of reasons, I've decided that I will not be running for re-election this term.

The reasons include life-changing decisions that I will have to make throughout the next couple of months, and some personal concerns about tg's new host and how certain things will or will not change.

I still maintain an interest in tgstation and will still continue participating in this community, albeit in a smaller capacity. I will have to consider whether or not I would like to run for head admin again when the next election rolls around.

I'm sorry if anyone is disappointed by this news. Although I may not be running this time, I would like to throw in my endorsement for Kor as head admin. He was my inspiration and role model admin during the early years I've been with this community. He's humble, has a good sense of justice and fun, and is willing to listen to the community's voices.

Just reiterating here: Anyone who is on the .txt will be able to vote in the player vote...but their vote will be thrown out. This is how we ran things last time to keep things fair (players can't vote in the admin vote, so why should admins be able to vote in the player vote?). If people are interested (and for the sake of transparency) MSO and I could release the stats that include .txt votes to see how admins and coders would have influenced the player vote if they could have.
