Detailed summary: When my friend and I were looting lavaland (namely the syndicate base), the aforementioned admin silently spawned about 15 syndicate simplemobs with eswords and ballistics. We survived only because I was a chaplain and could heal my friend with the bible. FYI the aforementioned friend has a much higher ping than me, and just spawning a bunch of monsters that can kill you in a second (and they were in a crowd) without warning or an event is very bad.

Okay, so:
- Unless you tried to explode the syndie station, you should only have encountered 4 mobs, all of them behind doors, which is the same number as the syndicate spawners which i deleted in a response since no ghosts picked them up to defend the station.
- I dropped some more mobs in the bomb room, which I didnt expect you to get into because it had literally nothing for you to gain in, and I did it since i wanted to drop the spawners back in after you left so the slow round that was still going at the time
- I then promptly got distracted by either real life or other spot of the round and promptly forgot about the station.
Also for the record:
- There is a fully equipped medbay on the syndie lavaland station
- There is fully equipped chem lab on the lavaland station
- You let the syndie simplemobs behind the door yourself I believe
- It is a syndicate lavaland station after all, and I don't get why it should be free of danger just because no ghosts were willing to fight at the time. If a player spawned you would be in much worse situation, especially with high ping.
- If you tried to explode the station you encountered a more threatening group but that was your own free will, you shouldn't waltz in into a PvE situation with absolute certainty that nothing has ever changed and that you wont ever encounter a threat.
I don't see what I did wrong in here, so I guess its off to headmins now?

If a player spawned we would have been fine as we had a sniper rifle that hard stuns, you cant stun mobs so we just got swarmed by two sets of 4 syndicate stormtroopers; with which we had collectively a makarov, sniper, chaplain sword and pka to fight. The mobs killed our raptors so we had to build a bridge to leave. Anyway, the issue with this is if we had been alone, or even just slightly unlucky we would have been round removed on your whim?

Thanks for your response, and yes, now we should wait for headmin response. Now to my answer:
- First you say 4 mobs, then you say "i also spawned more in vault but i didnt expect you to get there". I dont remember if its true about doors, from my memory you spawned them near us while we were chatting.
- Bomb room has literally core with bomb or le funny bomb to explode the station, thats RP proccess and we are parts of NT vesselship, why wouldnt we explode it?

And for the last two: if you want to add "danger" into syndicate OBSERVATION post, you should atleast do an announcement or something, and not wordlessly spawn bunch of tough mobs, or alternatively - PR your own danger if you feel like this ruin (simple lavaland observation post where you spawned nearly whole nuke team for some reason) not dangerous enough, same situation if random curator was just peacefully looting the space and then someone spawns like 20 mobs because "that ruin is hell easy!"

Would like to add that syndicate stormtroopers have 250 hp each; (edit: may have been either 100 or 170 hp mobs too i dont have logs) you essentially spawned two megafauna (Pack of 1000hp~ mobs) on ruin explorers. EDIT 2: Honestly two megafauna is a bit hyperbolic as its 900 hp total. Still i'd say it's less of a fair fight than any megafauna. The mobs were clumped up, have syndicate access and no damage slowdown, and were spawned with no warning replacing a ghost role. I just think there could have been a more fun solution than axing a ghost role for simple mobs; especially seeing this was only brought to your attention by ghosts which were given about 2 minutes to take the role.

First three were in syndicate arrivals, 4th was in the crate area, last 5 were in the bomb room

Worth to mention that simplemobs are not the same as real players. Real players fumble, real players can be shoved to wall, real players get slowdown from damage and yada yada. What we got - 9 aimbots that have syndicate access, can see you through doors and will follow you, I think thats literally what happened, simplemobs saw us through glass airlocks and literally went after us while we were chatting.

We have discussed this internally and will be rejecting this complaint.

While characters are permitted to fully know about the game world and mechanics, this does not translate into a guarantee that the world will operate in this way. Your approach to the syndicate base as effectively a lone combatant with a friend who is too laggy to fight anything thinking you can rambo your way through an entire syndicate outpost is entirely predicated on your meta knowledge and does not make a lot of sense IC. The base of course should be defended and should potentially demolish you.

Additionally this is effectively a ghost role entertainment, not a shopping mall for you to walk into. If the base is so inept in the current meta that a lone player can just run in there happily then the base probably needs new defences, and this complaint about getting owned as a lone ranger versus a whole base only reinforces this point by showing an expectation of entitlement to be able to solo capture the place.

Kubisopplay did not act in bad faith here, nor overly saturated the place, had you approached with caution expecting a fight it's quite likely you could have kited things and successfully taken the base anyway, but we have no issues with admins acting as Dungeon Masters in ways that both shake up the meta and lead to a more reasonable IC experience, both of which are in play here.
