Why should this appeal be accepted?: I got a PM from Xzero314 saying they don't believe I'm a new player and will be banning me. I sent "Wat" and was disconnected a few seconds later. idk what to write? Im not new I have 50 hours in TG and another 50-60 on a localhost. I also think its very unfair to just ban me without like asking any questions or anything. Please get back to me when you can. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to appeal.


The reason for my conciseness was that generally it is bad practice to share with somebody you suspect of being an evader how you caught them.

Since you appealed I am happy to share some of my thought process here.

I watched you play for a couple rounds. Your gameplay from the round prior to the tram round caught my eye. I found it hard to believe that somebody with an account made last month and just short of 50 hours of gameplay; Was able to kill pretty much the whole 40 population of terry. Solo. So I started watching more. You had quite impressive mechanics and game knowledge for somebody with such a new account. The round after on Tram was more or less the same.

I ended up taking a deeper investigation into you based on being certain you are not a new player on a new account. At this point I found something that linked you to a perma banned player that has evaded in the past. While I am not 100% sure you are this person, your gameplay matched their reasons for being perma banned. So I made the call to ban you for evading at this point and messaged you.

I still do not believe you are a new player. 50 hours of gameplay is not nothing. But it is not a playtime attributable to the gameplay I saw from you. I saw impressive inventory management, map knowledge, impressive one against one instincts. Properly using tools from jobs your account has never played once.

The issue I have with reversing this is that if somebody looks like an evader and smells like an evader and also happens to ping as a potential evader. They are probably an evader.

Thank you for your thoughtful and extensive response. I will do my best to answer all your questions, inquiries, etc.

The answer is yes, this is my first account.

As for using tools from Jobs I've never played, I logged in I think 2 weeks ago? I was playing a localhost before that as a guest account for Byond, and whenever I died on Terry. I found an affinity toward botany, chems, and Atmosish, so I spent a while working on those. And trying to figure out how they worked, like unleashing plasma in medbay seems to do a decent job of perma-removing people. As for deeper knowledge, I'm ignorant; my botany can only make death nettles, my chems unpurified salicylic acid, and I blow myself up in toxins quite a bit. So I just tunnel-visioned this into trying to get better at fighting people, as I deeply enjoy the complexity of this game's combat. Its not just point and click.

I don't know how to address the linking or anything, but I could see how my gameplay is suspicious. It's a difficult game, without a doubt, but I went from a baby wearing a duffel bag to being inspired by "Man and his fire axe " YouTube video by a creator called Jack Rip and other YouTubers who murder a lot of people when they get antagonist (TheAntroPod on youtube is also a great source of information.). For hours I have way more, I'm at the tailend of school currently so they're not much to do and I've been grinding away on Terry and the host thing I setup. I pretty much spent all time I could on Terry trying to fight people (Of course within rules) and sometimes touching the Auramill in holodeck, and whenever I died log off and read wiki/experiment on host.

I really enjoy this videogame, and I find it unfair that all the time I've invested into it can be snapped away without complete certainty, like you said you're not 100% certain. I really hope we can resolve this soon. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you.

I logged in to lift the ban. In the process I noticed something. A bit of an amateur mistake on my end for not checking this sooner.

You and I actually did have a ticket a week prior. The Incident where I banned you for the poor security escalation. This incident in combination with what I saw today has me more certain you are the evader I suspect you of being. So with this in mind I am going to have to change my mind on accepting the appeal. Apologies for this.
