Not config or something headmins can currently enable.

Find a coder and/or ops team member and/or wyci, then come back.

I can't see it being inherently bad, although I will caution against allowing methods for players to publish information to public channels on the Discord via in-game means as I don't particularly want us to get in trouble when Urist McDumbfuck renames the station Dead Nigger Storage 9001 and now two moderator teams have to get involved, although we already have the Github bots mirroring PRs and issues to public Discord channels so yolo I guess.
