Why should this appeal be accepted?: I am really sorry for not showing any restraint and constantly abusing exploits and being a huge shitter. It's been a year, and I have improved my self-control and restraint significantly, and I would really like and appreciate another chance at playing TG with all my friends and a chance to enjoy this year's April Fools' event.

Yeah, I understand. Constantly exploiting every week, being a shitter and toeing the rules is bad for the game. It ruins other people's enjoyment and gets old when I do it repeatedly.

So, I'll be pretty forward with my thought process here. The playstyle of focusing on exploits and winning was entirely negative for the server, you were banned for this, and then you continued to encourage people to use exploits on discord. Before your ban, you'd also focus intently on bragging about how you got game mechanics removed / rules changed (see changeling restrictions & chasm exploits).
I just don't really have any reason to trust that you've changed from this, aside from your own word (which I have a difficult time trusting after we spoke before your ban). I'm not averse to second chances, I want to avoid this kind of behaviour repeating.

I'm really sorry for my past behavior, and I would put a lot of effort into never repeating my mistakes or bragging about abusing mechanics again. Yes, my playstyle was extremely low quality and poor. I’d like to add that I appealed my permaban on Fulpstation a couple of months ago and have decent hours on Paradise with no issues. Besides that, I don’t know what else to say. I hope I can get a second chance, and I would try my absolute hardest not to mess up, abuse or encourage exploits, or act like a low quality shitter again.

Rave did a post that was basically a full peanut, but his goal was to progress the appeal to some sort of resolved state in your favour (i.e. to convert an impending denial into an acceptance).

I'm just going to steal the questions he asked verbatim and request you to direct any answers to Cheshify in pursuit of getting your appeal resolved in light of Chesh being clearly uncertain about unbanning you.

Sometimes fewer words work but you're giving off the vibe of being reeeeeal cagey on details which, I'll reveal to you now, probably won't work without a vouch. Going ahead without a vouch, your case is probably being heard more on vibes than on any objective criteria at this juncture. And vibes often require knowing more about you, what caused the issues in the past and what has happened that you've now put those issues behind you.

So with that context in place, here's the questions Rave thought would benefit your appeal to address and that Cheshify agreed to be put to you in the appeal with any response being aimed back at Chesh (and not me or Rave).

• From what I've heard, you had strong opinions on what mechanics were intentional or allowable. How has your opinion on that changed?
• You also sought to spread your playstyle to other people after you were banned. What was the motivation there?
• You are willing to describe yourself as "being a shitter," what specific actions/behaviors define one, in your opinion? How have you distanced yourself from those traits?

Firstly, sorry if this is too much or something I don't usually write such big walls of text and I'm trying my hardest and I'm not trying to be cagey and I can explain anything else if you need.

My opinion WAS that it was only an exploit if it was a bug in the code or similar error however I would constantly stretch the definition simply to power game things as far as I could push it. It wasn’t really a strong opinion so much as an attempted excuse to abuse unbalanced mechanics. Currently, I realize how bad this was for the server and gameplay, and currently on other servers, I take much more care to avoid and stop my self from abusing things that are blatantly unbalanced, regardless of whether they’re tagged as a bug, an oversight, or something clearly unintentional.

regarding spreading my playstyle, I really had no specific motivation other than poor self-control and thinking the GIFs and "jokes" I made were amusing. Looking back, mindlessly spreading or talking about things that were basically exploits (or at the least blatant power gaming ideas) on the Discord right after I was banned from the game was a really bad idea, and I’m genuinely sorry.
I wouldn’t say I’m currently a shitter(at least I like to think so), but due to my previous lack of self-control and impulsiveness and lack of care about power gaming or abusing features, I didn’t stop to think about why I shouldn’t do certain things in-game, like saying stupid NRP phrases, excessive grey tiding, or overusing/abusing things (like the chasm teleporter) to the point of it becoming disruptive and blatant shittery/power gaming.

regarding what makes someone a shitter, I would say being disruptive at the expense of everyone else playing the game, like excessive power gaming or tiding constantly or just being an asshole in general, I wouldn't say I was intentionally being an asshole but my power gaming and bug abuse was definitely shitty/shitter behavior and I've distanced my self from shittery by learning to respect people online more and to just be more polite in general and not focus on "winning" the game by extreme power gaming or mechanic abuse.

I acted impulsively with zero regard to other players and just did things at the time without even really thinking about what I was doing was a good idea without much actual regard to the rules or other peoples opinions or feelings, a lot of which I could've easily avoided by just taking a minute to stop and think if I should really be doing something at any point. I have since then worked on improving my self control and impulse control and would say I am as I am now much better off than I was prior to my qc ban.

Frankly, the only way we can go about learning if you've changed is to give you the opportunity to prove it to us.
Don't expect nearly as much leniency as you had the first time around, but I'm going to un-ban you.
