Bottom post of the previous page:

ran two banger little events in a row. First round, I was hunting xemo like a cryptid for a newspaper article. Second round, I spawned in as a sentient gondola in a bitrunning simulation, did a lorax bit with the bitrunner as a metaphor for colonialism, and Xemo really dramatically blew us up with a meteor.

Spent a whole shift psychologically torturing my static during a lowpop round on manuel. By far one of the best admin interactions I have had

Does fun events, even if I'm not always into them. I wish there was an event server for them to run things on so they don't change normal rounds when you're not in the mood for chaos. I can't complain when they put in genuine effort to mix up the SS13 experience that isn't just pressing buttons or playing music. Tiny Xemo is the only good static.

IDC if you are a gamemaster heres some feedback

Whenever i had a concern or issue in game, and the admin that handled it was TheBibleMelts, it was always handled well. A few of my ahelps usually were for nothingburgers, but They explained it in a way I could understand. Plus watching their handling of situations is top notch! Thanks for being awesome.

Someone who does this much adminning will invariably have their ups and downs, and TBM has been a mixed bag for me. I was really discouraged from his adminning style when he ran what I guess you could call an "event" spawning a horde of zombies in morgue, which then overran and killed me and other med staff with no warning and no counterplay. I considered that the laziest type of event there could be, and TBM was dismissive about my feedback about it in discord. It was not a great start, and I was discouraged from playing some shifts where he showed up on adminwho.

But, over time, my opinion has changed. I always thought he was an amazing roleplayer, one of the best on Manuel, if not the best, but that's not necessarily a great quality in an admin because I would always prefer him as a player than as an admin. But then I heard about a cute event he ran for Erebus, and was impressed with the screenshots I saw of it, and then TBM ran a similar event for me, giving my character a brainwash with full Asimov which was pretty unique and led to a bunch of funny interactions from the crew, plus he spawned a comedic character who haunted me and another player in virology. That was a very special event that I appreciated a lot.

Then, TBM made a map based on dwarf fortress and began running events on that, and I was blown away by the quality and the uniqueness of it, it felt like a brand new game mode, and all the work and love put into that map was staggering and beyond what I'd seen most other admins do. I think that's an amazing contribution and I very much enjoyed both playing and spectating the shifts on that map, which I think is still being developed to this day.

Buuut then I was bwoinked by TBM and had a pretty dissatisfying experience, a bwoink which resulted in a note that I eventually appealed and got removed. I wrote more about my impressions of TBM's conduct in the appeal, and to sum up, I have mixed feelings. I can appreciate an admin able to remove one's self entirely from the enforcement and just applying the rules based on other similar notes, and I also respect the lack of hard feelings and TBM's maturity in dealing with the matter, but of course I simply disagreed with the note and didn't like the lack of trust or leeway afforded me when placing it.

And that is generally my impression of TBM - mixed feelings, but their adminning is a positive for the game overall. I no longer feel like I should dodge the games that he admins, and I always hope that I'll "roll" one of his many good events instead of the few bad ones. I'd prefer someone else to handle my ahelps, but I'd much rather have TBM adminning than no admins online. Also his interest in restructuring security policy has me somewhat worried about his judgment when it comes to current sec, but luckily I didn't have to test that in ahelps yet and I hope that day never comes.

Also, an important thing to add - TBM makes use of the expiring notes, which is a very welcome touch, I hope more admins use it. It lessens the blow a little.

So, to sum up:

5/10 for tickets, 8/10 for events, comes to about 6.5/10 overall.
