Trying to remove NSFW written adult books
We all know it and loved our Adult section in the library and our classic case of Woody got Wood which is a book that already got banned several times, i want to get rid of all NSFW Books at it only attracts people with bad taste that write lewd stuff about others and usually even content that involves other untastefull stuff like bestiality and others in that degree we already disallow ERP and other creepy/lewd stuff i don't see how this should be a exception
My intended Solution already got implemented about letting players volunteer curate books removing against ToS books, Duplicates, And Empty books allowing them hide those so it doesn't clog up or show up the library archive. As in here

Reduce the amount maps of in rotation.
Theres alot of great maps in the code so far which are the following: Meta, Icebox, Wawa, Birdshot, Nebula, Delta, Tramstation, Northstar(Sorry if i forgot some) I would like to reduce the amount of available maps being able to voted by 6, and then weekly rotate out the 3 least voted ones for the other ones that weren't there at the time, this way with the tally system we can upkeep some maps that people like without getting thrown into back to back to back maps people hate once tally numbers get higher. or more maps getting added this way all maps can see the day of light instead of having a big number of maps in a row of players might dislike and leave
After some chit chat with FinalPotato i have realised that a barebone idea like this doesn't adress the auctall issues at hand. best i can try to estabilish a better relation between players and mappers. I get that players don't like a certain map which js a fair opinion. but you have to learn whats the difference between constructive feedback and opinions, opinions are what you think of it you should keep those to yourself nobody cares if you think this map sucks. constructive feedback is a attempt adressing a certain issue of a map where mappers could gauge if they can make their map better in a aspect. in short i think players need to learn the work thats put into a map. and some emphaty how would you feel if people constantly made fun of your ideas or constantly told you suck this causes a person to go over the edge and burn out which only hurts the community and future to be mappers aswell.

keep rule 4 as how it is
Its just the spirit of LRP and freedom for antags has led to alot of funny moments and i don't intend to change that rule

Cut down on the "Mime is valid if they talk"
I want to remove the policy that makes mime valid if they talk, and try to change it that they only open to normal esculation, Validing the Mime includes no rp its just mindlessy killing the mime because they decided to talk, thats why im making them just open to normal esculation if they do talk, so if a person feels like messing with the mime they can do so, otherwise mimes can just freely change their job if they dont feel like playing mime and just wants to use their words without having the dreadfull feeling getting mobbed by people for talking and getting round removal, this introduces a more player friendly envoirement and cutting down on "Valid Culture" which leaves a bad impression to newer players

Expiriment with non human heads
I think expirimenting with non humans can be intresting my version would just keep the AI asimov and limit the Hop/Captain/Rd as human only while CMO/CE/HOS/QM can roll non human
After having a few days to think about this, i will fully support a full command staff of non humans. since i believe the community matters here everyone in the end of the day wants to play their favorite character and if it ends up being non human due to this it sucks since you are wanting happily play command but you want to do it with your favorite character. but this brings up a intresting subject what about the AI? I think thats the part where we need to expiriment first starting with Asimov since this brings a intresting dynamic for non human command that try to muscle their way around or try to force crewsimov which the AI can retilitate to. Otherwise i'd happily push for crewimov if AI doesn't really lock in on non human conflicts on my years of experience when im fighting a felinid for example i am the one that gets flashed while the non human clubs my head in. In the end i want people to enjoy playing the game in their way and of course this change won't come with push from people who are against it but i think its just a matter of people don't like change and eventually will get used to like cloning removal

Enforce higher standards for security
Security securing valids is great and all but i want to add higher standards(well not really that high) but the basic neccesity to enforce space if the situation asks. for example if QM gets overflown by tiders and he asks for help, dont make 5 circles around maint trying to find valids but help the QM out, this creates RP scenario which makes green shifts less boring if you don't have any antags to find or nothing to do Antags are keep the round intresting. space law is to keep security from being bored remember in the end of the day theres 2 humans sitting behind the computer trying to enjoy their day and as a officer i think you should enforce that, so just the basic enforcement of the space law.

Banned from the server for 1 day - As a non antagonist, part of a several to dozen sized group of non cargo spending 15 minutes tiding cargo as a mob, the QM attempted to restore order, initially with telebaton, situation degenerated and multiple people were crit or killed including eventually the QM. If you see a mob forming and things are violent and you don't have a good reason for being involved, leave, because clearly a dozen people mobbing cargo is disruptive and the QM has the authority to attempt to assert control there, greytide does not rule, and your hand 

While i was clearly in the wrong here by aggreviating the QM it also shows how little control heads have over everything they can stop 1 person but they cant stop several and they will usually support eachother, The QM also called for sec and naturally sec didn't care because it was on Terry and they only care getting antags/valids i personally think security should put in the bare effort to enforce the law to some degree to help the heads that lack control to handle situations.

My worst ban? depends on worst in what way lets say offense wise it'll would be by bmon
Banned from the server permanently - Rule 2 Metagaming - Livestreamed an ongoing round to a voice channel in a private discord server while other people in the channel were playing in the same round.

This is really clear and straightforward due my actions of metagaming i didnt only drag meself down but innocent bystanders aswell personally i'd say if its only yourself whatever you probaly deserved it but once you start dragging innocent bystanders with you you're going too far

An note/ban i didn't agree with i can't really say i think all of my notes and bans were 100% justified and the admins do a really good job at enforcijg then. to some sense, the only note i really kinda disagreed was with being a revulutionary singlecapping the CE in the supermatter room and causing the supermatter to delamn while i killed the CE i fucked up the whole pipenet of the supermatter and that was going against my team in some way or something but this was post revs existing so when revs won the round would just continue on its own so it was a mess of its own

I don't really think we can force a revive, bagil will be in the same boat sybil is even if we'd run events and stuff it would only be for the moment of the event maybe we could slicken the map pool to more popular maps like meta/delta(maybe even old box station for nostelgia sake) since pop tends to die alot of unpopular maps and i think for sybil sake we could make the map pool smaller but i think this would be better for a poll

Do you think there's an issue with "valid culture" on the servers today, and if so what policy changes would you make to combat this trend? Should Mimes be allowed to speak if they switch to a different job, or should the vow be treated as unbreakable for the duration of a shift? Much to ponder.

I think mime breaking their vow shouldn't allow other players to disregard escalation policy, they shouldn't be straight up "valid" and being able to removed from the round by anyone if they feel like it. while i agree mimes talking sucks it should just open up for normal esculation then straight up screaming mime talked and then getting mobbed by several players for this example. this is just not fun for the player getting the treatment even if they did so purposely its just becomes to the point its No RP and i think if it atleast allows normal esculation it could atleast create more intresting scenarios then if they were just "valid"

"Valid Culture" is bad because it isn't in the spirit of LRP but more so more of NRP its just you kill a person thats it no RP done and then it'll just be killings that makes a round not intresting and kinda pulls other players to be more anti social/not wanting to rp because the culture is getting too combat focused by capturing valids. causing other jobs like security to mostly disregard basic space law to only secure valids becsuse nothing else matters its the only thing they can freely kill

And i want less harsh conquences for the mime when they break their Vow because in the end if its a new player for example that just thought oh mime is a cool job, none of these players will not know every policy they might have read the rules but probaly not the headmin policies and stuff so in their eyes it would just be "what the fuck these people just killed me for talking" which could potentionally give a bad impression on them.

And i believe mimes should have the freedom to switch out the job if they don't feel like being a mime and then shouldn't be held to the standards of this person isn't supposed to talk, and i know people will argue what about mime vow then and their abilities they will just keep it like any other job with special abilities if they decide to recreate their vow they can use their abilities on it, its breakable for a reason, theres a cool down for a reason it isn't that big of a deal.

In the end of the day Low RP is still Low RP and not NRP which fits more by the "Valid culture"

Thanks for the response boss! I'll admit I don't have a personal horse in the validhunting race, I mostly posted here to push you to expand on some ideas you've shared in the Discord, but I appreciate your thoughtful reply.

Overall I mostly agree, I think a lot of this conversation's been hashed out already over the L word ruling, but especially on lowpop, when players are given the chance to deputize themselves in this way, the response and ensuing yakety sax chase can end up causing 10x more disruption than the original offense did, which is an L for the station and a big W for people griefing by baiting valids. I think I'd prefer to see issues of this nature resolved either administratively rather than """IC""", or by finding ways to phase out the remaining rules that enable players to validly kill non-antag crew.
