Brainwashing orders cannot be ignored, you have to act accordingly. Player could not be bwoinked to hear their side.

Why should this appeal be accepted?:
First and foremost, I shot the Manuel players with chloral hydrate syringes, which is several orders of magnitude less severe than lexorin. Secondly, the message I was hypnotized with, "Jack Jackson is your one and only valentine," is not an order or declaration of mastery over myself. It is a statement. Nowhere in the hypnotized message am I compelled to obey them or their allies. Perhaps the intention of the message was to instill obedience but, as precedented by dozens of cyborgs and AI before me, the spirit of the "order" does not have to be obeyed, only the letter. My only regret was going AFK and not delivering this expertly crafted defense on the day this note was placed.

I demand immediate recompense for this inconvenience in the form of a Wendy's giftcard, with a value of $20 USD.

Our wiki with Da Rules is being hosted by Paradise but I can't grab the link— but to paraphrase, hypnosis is not like AI laws. You must interpret them in good faith. This appeal still belongs to Distirul, I'm just pointing out that there does not seem to be a good-faith interpretation of "Jack Jackson is your Valentine!" to equal allowing you to Chloral them.

I checked the syringes and yeah, they were chloral hydrate + mute toxin syringes. I'll edit your note to reflect that

Do you play a lot of silicon? Because following laws by the letter instead of the spirit is how you are meant to play them.
It isn't the same for hypno orders though, next to directives and definitions we also expect people to follow the hypno message by the spirit (as a human person would, not a silicon). So if someone brainwashed you with "You are this person's valentine", I'd expect you to do ANYTHING but directly attack the valentine. After that, you also attacked Jack's valentine for seemingly the same reason. Ultimately it seemed like you weren't willing to give up the fight that you had with both Jack and Jack's valentine, Molly, earlier to follow your brainwash orders correctly, which is why I placed the note.

If I could hear your reasons for attacking Jack and Molly that would be great, because you went AFK without responding to our bwoinks that round (don't get me wrong, you can go AFK for lots of reasons more important than a game, however then we have to talk through the appeal system).

Barring the single syringe I fired at the moth, which was in response to them saying "welcome to the polycule" (which is a completely rational thing to fire a chloral syringe at somebody for (what else would you expect out of a Manuelite)) my hostilities with the moth ended there.

Circling back to the brainwash message, "Jack Jackson is your one and only valentine," I want to bring to attention my hostility to the other Manuel player and the relation (or lack thereof) they have to each other. I fail to see how acting hostile to them specifically breaches the "spirit" of this message. If I am to interpret it as the "spirit" demands, my in-character emotions and attitude towards the moth would be exclusive towards the moth, hence the "and only" added at the end. With my perception of reality altered and my emotions skewed it is only natural that, in-character, I would turn my attention towards the other Manuel player and vent my frustrations (the frustration, of course, coming from the mugging that took place in the beginning of the shift, which is the reason we are where we are now.) In case anyone brings up the line "welcome to the polycule" as including the second Manuel player into the valentine brainwashing love-triangle kerfuffle, this runs directly opposite the line "Jack Jackson is your ONE and ONLY valentine." Besides, just because the moth, my supposed valentine, is friendly with an individual this does not mean that I, in-character, have to extend to them the same courtesy.

Truly, this appeal has been a damning condemnation on polyamorous relationships.

I believe it is worth mentioning that there was a medical cyborg next to the moth when I fired the syringe. Not that such a low concentration of chloral hydrate could have harmed them in the first place. I don't even recall if they fell unconscious.
