You're bundled into the debriefing room - not unusual after being evacuated by emergency shuttle, but this time is a little off. The two security guards who brought you into the room - normally they'd be questioning you. But here, they're just...watching you. Another man walks in. In the green and gold insignia that suggests a central command officer. He gestures at the guards in the cell and they leave.
"Y'know they think I'm going to kill you?";
"I, mean, it's not unreasonable. I've done it before. I tend not to now-" He takes a moment to scratch his jacket sleeve. "This bloody - Who the hell chose apple green and gold as the colours of complete authority!?". A moment to compose himself.
"Whatever. Do you know why you're here, or, perhaps more importantly, why I'M here?"

Re: The Department
"Look, I—" I stammer, trying to come up with an answer to the official's questions. "The methamphetamine, it was to fill a prescription! It was stamped and signed by the Chief Medical Officer! I had no reason to believe it was fabricated or otherwise invalid! And I certainly never would have guessed that my filling of that prescription would end up getting the station's entire security force addicted to stimulants!"
I let my body slacken, the chains from the handcuffs clinking against the armrests.
"It—it was an honest mistake. You have to believe me! I— hold on…" I take a moment to look around the room, looking to see if my satchel had been placed somewhere within reach, and coming up blank. "My satchel. I kept a copy of the prescription in my survival box, just in case. Could you, uhm, take a look at it? I'm pretty sure the guards took my bag away, I really don't remember when I lost it. Please, just…" I trail off, taking deep breaths to calm myself down.

"A drug bust? You think I'd bother leaving my comfortable office to come here for a drug bust? I mean, I accept getting a whole station addicted to stimulants is funny. And it is, I mean, I applaud you."
The officer flicks a switch and the light on the other side of the 'one-way-mirror' reveals no one is on other other side. "It's just us though, you can tell me what you were looking for"

Re: The Department
My chest heaves as I think of what else I could have done prior to evacuation. "I—I had slipped through the door into the science division behind a geneticist; I needed to print some parts to upgrade the chemistry equipment, but the scientists weren't answering my PDA messages, let alone manning the front desk. The AI was unresponsive, too. I had to get into the Research Director's office to get my hands on the door remote so I could leave. I couldn't see much inside there, since the lights had been broken by an electrical storm, but it did smell horrible in that office. I really don't know how to describe it, since I had never smelled anything like it before. Anyway, the locker was already open, I just grabbed the remote off the top shelf so I could enable emergency access on the doors to get out. I went and printed my parts, tossed the remote onto the RD's desk, and went back to Medical. There's surely some security footage to back me up there, right?"
I take a moment to think about the whole situation, my eyes drifting around the blank room.
"Come to think of it, the locker did seem abnormal. It shook when I reached up to grab the remote, and I'm pretty sure they're usually bolted to the floor. It also seemed… empty? Like, I would expect my arm to brush against at the very least the bag of clothing that all the heads of staff are usually given, but I didn't feel anything aside from the remote. And that smell, God, I don't think I'll ever forget that smell. It made me want to vomit."

"Now we're getting somewhere! I'm afraid the incident you're referring to has been classified 'Cerulean induction'. As such the only people who can see the footage are myself and my superiors."
"Do you want a drink? I can get you a drink, this isn't really a prisoner interrogation..". The man in green produces a tiny key from his front pocket and unlocks your handcuffs.
"And what do you suppose was happening? I've read your file, you're hardly a greensleeve, you know your way around a space station..."
