Why should this appeal be accepted?: All right. I'm willing to admit I made a mistake. Or a series of them. My ban evasion consisted of turning on a VPN which was already installed, and creating a new byond account which is free. It wasn't intended to be a mastermind plan or even work. The other half of my ban was for politically charged in character graffiti. It genuinely wasn't meant to be offensively provoking, just humorous to me and, at face value, the ships chaplain, whom I am not associated with, but was present.
I realize now that I was unreasonably defensive in my ahelp, which un-necessarily escalated the situation. I was raised in the cesspit that is Hippie Station and I've been plagued with consequences for growing up in that ghetto.

I'd like to come back, it's a pretty small community that plays this game and I like the /TG codebase for the most part. I'll behave myself, accept any admin ruling and try to focus strictly on my in character duties. I have had many positive interactions with the community they just are overshadowed by the intensity of my blunders. I'd like the chance to respond to rejections as I feel if you knew how I thought it would be clear I'm not being malicious.

Okay, so it looks like LT3 banned you originally and Fikou and GeneralThrax handled your evasion bans. The way we usually handle this is that we have you appeal each of the bans in turn, but you need to have the original ban lifted before anything else can happen.

Given that LT3 is no longer an admin, I'll go ahead and take this over. Your original ban reason is as follows:

Banned from the server permanently - As an assistant spray painted 'Pro Choice is Pro Death' in the chapel and then went to tide the RD's office. In ticket was confrontational, such as 'Why are you being offended on behalf of other people',' its a joke?' and 'pathetic too bad hippie died' Asking to not drag OOC politics IC is not 'fun police', we're all here to have a good time, the way you're acting won't be tolerated.

This is, putting it lightly, pretty yikes. Can you answer the following questions for me:

1) What has changed between October of last year and now that means the above won't be an issue in the future?
2) Do you understand why what you said is against our server rules, specifically rules 1 and 11?
3) Have you played on any other SS13 servers since you were banned?

1) I've had one of those rock bottom spirals regarding ss13. Turns out a lot of other servers look at /TGs bans when examining you. I've come to appreciate /TGs presence more and I've realized that if I want an enjoyable codebase available to me I need to be more amenable.
2) While I know its definitely not the point I should defend, I was only trying to be funny. I shouldn't have argued with the admin in the way I did though, it has only ever made things worse. I can absolutely see how it could be interpreted as violating 1 and 11. My only defense of 1 is I wasn't trying to be a dick in character but I was kind of a dick to the admin in the ahelp. I wasn't trying to discriminate either, the fact that I'm pro choice in real life surely alters the context of the graffiti. I just thought having a right wing chaplain would be funny and the chaplain himself went along with it. I would also not repeat this behavior.
3) I've played on several servers but I don't enjoy their codebases very much usually and they don't interest me. I'd be on my best behavior here and it's not like I couldn't be banned again.

Okay, so I think that you understand what the issue is regarding what you said. You can do a conservative priest schtick, but you have to stick to things that aren't commonly what they rail against in real life, so you could do like one that hates alcohol and cigarettes or other things, but you can't do a Westboro Baptist Church.

I acknowledge that this was probably more likely a momentary lapse of reason than anything. I'm willing to give you a second chance if you can agree not to do any gimmicks in the future that stray too close to IRL politics.

On the matter of your other bans, GeneralThrax is no longer an admin, so I can lift that ban as part of this appeal. Fikou, however, is still with us, and as such I need his permission to go forward. I've asked him if he would be okay with me lifting your ban or if he wants you to appeal it separately and I'll let you know what he says once I hear back.

If you can assure me that you can play in a respectful manner and follow the rules like everyone else, I'll lift all of your bans and give you a second chance.

We often prefer players utilise their main account instead of their evasion accounts after being unbanned. It's often too much of a pain in the ass to transfer extensive note histories over, which has to be done manually by placing new notes one-by-one.

If that's not possible, please confirm which account you'd like to be considered your new main account and it will be considered. After we've confirmed which account we'd like you to use, the other alt accounts will be permabanned and you'll only be allowed to connect on that account.
