You were permaed before for carrying issues through multiple lives with borgs, and now you've done it again to a much bigger degree.

Why should this appeal be accepted?: It's been a while there's a lot I've missed, there's a lot I want to get done. I love this game, it looks like Sybil isn't doing so hot which is a shame, I'm very much locked out of making the contributions to the game I want to do without having access to view the general player dynamic of the game from bugs to features.

I think I have well proven the fact I cannot be trusted with ghost roles by the capacity this administration requires me to, even though secluded to a small amount of instances those instances have secluded me out of this game for long, I do not think my behavior shows an inability to engage with this game within other positions either as crew or antagonist it wouldn't be unreasonable to reinstate my ability to partake in those roles.

Omega has since retired from the admin team, so I'll run this one down mid.

Looking into your overall administrative history, you've basically been causing issues since you started playing in August 2021.

In your first 150 hours you were warned against observing multiple servers at once and roundstart ghosting, as well as blowing up a pot-water grenade on the shuttle as an admin spawned intern, IC in OOC and a misleading ahelp where the admin tagged you as lying.

Heading into 300 hours, you picked up a 3 day ban for general shittery misusing a posibrain to break your laws as a borg after dying in the shift as well as another count of observing multiple servers at once.

You managed to keep clean up to 800 hours, before an issue with silicon law interpretation saw you cop a fairly hefty ban that was commuted on appeal on the basis that this was a wonderful learning experience for you.

Heading up to 900 hours of play time, you encountered a minor issue with escalation, got banned from urgent adminhelps for 2 weeks for misusing them, used a golem to second life immediately bee-lining towards dead bodies to loot them that you couldn't have known about IC, killing a borg following its law 1 treating someone with its cautery and finally a permanent urgent ahelp ban after using it to complain a delam didn't SM cascade.

Approaching 1050 hours of play time and the one year mark of you playing here, we have supermatter suicide roundstart, ignoring your host as a holoparasite to instead attack and kill people on your own when asked not to by your host, and a 3 day ban for plasma flooding the shuttle because you thought there may be revs on it.

Heading up to 1250 hours, we have a note mentioning you getting antag banned on Fulp for doing things that were eerily similar to things you'd done here like suiciding or disconnecting near the start of shifts, a minor rule 8 infraction, minor over-escalation and a 3 day command ban for going into space as a head shiftstart.

You manage to go about 100 hours without any issue from here, but from 1350 hours onwards towards 1550 hours we have more antag rolling by suiciding and taking a nuke ghost roll after war was declared, a permanent drone role ban for metagaming/secondlifing, a note for a shuttle call near roundstart because it was a greenshift, another 7 day ghostrole role ban for metagaming/secondlifing as a positronic brain role, OOC in IC by referring to you ahelping something IC.

This takes us to 1600 hours, where you got permanently banned for another instance of secondlifing/metagaming via ghost roles, failed the first appeal and succeeded on the second with Omega giving you a second chance basically for free by taking what you said at face value.

I'll cut the rest short since all that matters is after that is another minor rule 8 issue that netted you a week ban from sec, a cultist role ban for griefing cult with mutations, ignoring laws/team orders to get OOC revenge on someone as a repurposed syndicate borg and then finally the titular ban of this appeal - Spawning in as some 40 golems or so to grief sec officers giving yourself orders prior to this to try and allow it.

That appeal failed, you were asked to re-appeal in 12 months after you'd put in a serious effort to change. But fuck it, it's close enough so whatever.

However, the absolute minimum I'd expect is for you to return with 1. a strong vouch 2. from a reputable server 3. across many hours of playtime.

So I'm going to deny this appeal, give you the usual re-appeal in 12 months spiel but allow you to re-appeal at any sooner time if you can get a suitable vouch and I politely ask any future admins hearing your appeals (if Omega isn't the one to take them) to honour this offer.

If that does not apply then, there are not any servers I can play to get a voucher on, and honestly I am not really interested in playing any other servers, it doesn't have to be this complicated the reason I was perma banned and had issues within the server was because of my misused and incapability of correctly using ghost roles I don't see what would be problematic about me playing as a crewmember.

I think reviewing me through playing within this server would be more effective at determining if I should be playing within this server, than an entire different administration team deciding so.

I took a peak at your notes on tgmc and it would be very unlikely anybody there would give you a vouch given the amount of notes you've gotten in the past 12 months for poor/irresponsible team play and the fact that your last note (from last month) is you continuing to do something you were told not to in the note before that.

The reason you were permabanned is repeatedly breaking the rules over and over again. Many times the same rules, but not always.

You already had your review of playing on our servers. That was the unban after your first perma. You failed that review and ended up re-perma'd as a result.

That leads to us applying the once bitten, twice shy doctrine of chances.

Now you have to evidence to us how you're no longer going to be an administrative burden to us. The easiest route is getting that vouch.

And "just ban me from stuff I had no self control over" honestly is the server permaban itself, since I think you would be a net negative to our game servers with poor team play, metagaming and assorted other occasional rule breaks on top.

Poor team play is not shown behavior from me playing in Sybil, occasional rule breaks are concentrated to small insignificant errors I've had through hundreds of hours of playing I don't think it is reasonable to review my entire existence within this server and exclusively looking at all the bad that has ever happened which tends to accumulate when you play for more than 3,000 hours.

Anyway I'll see what I can do about a vouch, It's not too exciting to put a hundred or so hours in something you don't enjoy so you can play something you do, I kind of have a life.

What matters is the environment your presence on the game servers creates for everyone else. SS13 is at its most fun when we're all contributing to the enjoyment of other people and we can trust that other players are doing the same for us. It's an unwritten social contract that has kept tgstation's brand of SS13 trucking long after any imitators that try to be "like tgstation but".

My most sincere hope that the above is a non-controversial take that we can all agree on.

As soon as we try to maximise our own fun at the expense of others, there's a failure in that social contract. Doing it once is a bit eh whatever, but you've shown you'll repeatedly go into business for yourself and continue doing it even after being given a second chance.

All we ask of you to restore our faith in your willingness to stick to that social contract is you playing the same game somewhere else for long enough and with few enough issues that we actually think you give a flying rat's ass about more than just yourself and your own happiness while playing.

I don't have much confidence based on the accountability you take in this appeal, but this has been the year of 180 character arcs so I hope you'll get the opportunity to prove me wrong.
