Why should this appeal be accepted?:

I would like to apologize for metagaming. When I first joined the VC where this was happening, I was unaware that the game was even being streamed in the first place. I just wanted to have some background noise for while I was playing, and maybe talk to my friends about things unrelated to SS13. I only realised that a current round was being streamed once I heard Chappygart instructing ImprovedName on how to make a powercrepe. I was already doing something in the round at this point, and I didn't want to just abandon it. I assumed that it would be okay to stay in the VC as long as I wasn't actively watching the stream or trying to use any information for gain. I admit that this was not a good idea, but at the time I was quite tired and was not thinking entirely at my best capacity. After clearing my head, I now realise how even when I am not actively using outside information it can have a terrible effect on the round for other players. I have tried to be a good player throughout my time on the TGstation server and engage with the community positively. I would like one chance to prove that this was all just a misunderstanding, and I hope that you will grant me that chance. I apologize if I've made any mistakes in this appeal, I am not very good with the forums.

Hello. Thank you for being upfront about this, I really do respect that.

Out of the bunch caught up in this ban wave you probably had done the least amount of things that I took issue with which is a good thing. I am not going to sit here and lecture you about what you could have done differently, anyways I am sure you've already gleaned that from the other appeal.

I am willing to lower this to a 3 month ban, if you're okay with that let me know.
