Why should this appeal be accepted?:
I got hit by another person's stickyban, most likely due to CID issues. My main OS is Linux so I've been playing from a VMWare Win10 virtual machine which is the only way to run BYOND on my PC. Seems like something went wrong with its CID generation and I shared a CID with "Muffindrake", due to which I got hit by their stickyban. At the time I haven't been playing SS13 at all. Possibly related, I have been receiving a "Duplicate CID, log out" message every time I join a /tg/ server but as I was told by oranges, "its /tg/code what did you expect" and to simply ignore it. I suspect that this was triggered by an invalid? CID since it happened even when logging onto empty servers (Event Hall), but could be related to the stickyban issue.
If required, I can post the ban message I receive upon logging in.
