Hot take indeed, nurse has the best chasing in the game without needing any perks to support it, which allows her to put on 4 info perks so she can always be in a chase (which again she has no problem winning). no perk or addon nurse / meta trapper experiment by otzdarva does a good job of explaining it

It has a small terror radius when it's in runner mode, so you can get jumpscared if you're not paying attention. It can also just pop out of the tunnels on the map out of fucking nowhere, that's terrifying.

I don't know the specifics, but what I've heard was that Netflix had wanted to make their own games for a while, which is why they pulled the ST rights from BHVR. Since all of that fell through, they let them buy it again.

That or Netflix just wanted too much money and now that DBD's hitting another popularity peak, they bent the knee.

I'm not complaining. I've been wanting Demogorgon for a while.

So, what happened was some clueless suit in Netflix's boardroom said "why are we letting other companies profit off our intellectual property? We are starting our own gaming division with a team working on developing a game, we need to pull the licenses from these other companies or refuse to renew licensing so we can get more profit from our OWN product."

So Stranger Things stuff was removed from games! And then the big game that netflix's gaming division was working on?

A bejeweled clone. Their gaming division crashed and burned and then their stock price tanked because of people account sharing and they need money so they said "ok you can have our license back"

I just found out about this thread and it's honestly really funny seeing the old pages, when fucking HUNTRESS was being released

I like the look of the talent tree and how as you unlock stuff and get stronger, you lose things in the process. That way everyone isn't a cookie cutter build.

Beta keys are handed out on the 31st as a steam inventory item. I'll have one spare if anyone wants it then.

As for the beta, it will only be 1 map out of the 12, and the antagonist choices are limited to 1 or 2.

Tips:

Don't run around as a survivor all the time, as you leave red footprints for the bad guy to follow.

Items you have on you when you escape are stored in your main menu inventory. You can select them to use in another match. If you die, it's removed from your inventory.

As you progress through your talent tree, you will see a black area. These encroach on talents you know. If you learn new talents, these will be lost. Choose carefully.

As a hunter, don't rush to kill everyone. Play with your prey to get more points.

As a survivor, you don't have to work with others. In fact, you can use others as distractions. Survival of the fittest.
