My stand is pretty much unbeatable too, so long as I can get a bead on someone and shoot them. Even a glancing blow on someone's stand lets me steal it, albeit for only a few moments, and then I can follow up with a few shots on the defenseless user who just got their stand swiped for a killing blow.
The self-heal and healing others along with the vague "absorbing" ability is just icing on the cake
