Operation Santa

Hey guys, are you familiar with the USPS's program where they open letters addressed to the North Pole and then let volunteers fulfill the kid's Santa wishlist? It's been going on since 1912, but this year they've made a website for it.

I bring this up because this has been an especially shitty year for everyone, meaning that it's going to be an extremely shitty Christmas for kids whose parents have lost their jobs or have other new financial strain from 2020. If you're a bleeding heart who can afford to drop a couple bucks to bring some cheer to a child experiencing like the worst Christmas of the century, that would be pretty cool. These kids are going to run the world at some point (provided we don't globally end ourselves before that), so we might want to do a thing to see to it that they aren't as warped by all this as they could be.

I'm not sure if other countries have programs like this, if you're outside of the US and you know of a program for your country, please share some info and a website if they have one.
