Bottom post of the previous page:
From what I’ve seen (like 3 of the most popular incidents) all of the incidents have been proven baseless. There was the hiccup with the 9 military ballots but as Sticky said that was promptly handled by the checks and balances installed in the system. Once again it’s Trump leaping upon shadowy information to spread misinformation and accusations.Rip trump

Trump's tweeting he won the election in all caps like an actual lunatic. Keep in mind even if we just gave him enough votes to win AZ, NV, WI, and GA, he'd still be behind by 4 million votes. Some "victory" that would be.
That's not even getting into the simple fact there's no evidence of voter fraud.
There isn't anything to sue over. He literally has no case at all. Throwing out the post-election day votes from PA wouldn't be enough to overturn the election even if 100% of them went to Biden. Additionally if Biden wins AZ, NV, and GA, then overturning PA outright also wouldn't be enough for Trump to win.Farquaar wrote:Listen, I'm not saying that I want it to go to court. I've not bothered reading that, no. There's nothing entertaining in it for me and it doesn't actually tell anything truly new.
From that picture you've posted, it tells me that they've not actually done anything out of the ordinary. 4chan did worse than that several times just because they thought it was funny, so if Russia really can't do better than some bored chanfolk I don't see Russia as the problem. It's the government failing at security
If the people were pissed about everything they should be pissed about, they'd never calm down again and we'd see the guilotines come out again. But instead of that their anger is directed by media and politics to aim at people that are socially accepted as targets of anger.

It doesn't matter if the lawsuit will help Trump win the presidential race or not. There have been reports of Republican election observers being denied access to poll counting locations and video footage of poll workers covering up windows of counting rooms to prevent observers from looking in. This alone is a violation of Michigan state law.MisterPerson wrote:There isn't anything to sue over. He literally has no case at all. Listen, I don't care if Trump is out of office. I never liked him, and I'm satisfied with the results of congressional and senate elections. Even if there was voter fraud, it would be on such a small scale that the outcome of the presidential race wouldn't really be affected. But it would make things easier for everyone if Democrats didn't go kicking and screaming every time a Republican points out an election irregularity. Transparency is key to making this go smoothly.MisterPerson wrote: That's not even getting into the simple fact there's no evidence of voter fraud.

What Dems are doing are shooting down crackpot theories, not actual cases. Stopping disinformation is important, so when people claim that their vote wasn't counted because of a sharpie it's important to correct it whenever possible with the fact that sharpies are still counted for ballots.Farquaar wrote:Listen, I don't care if Trump is out of office. I'm all for shooting down crackpot theories, because I'm in favour of providing the public with accurate information. Again, transparency is key, and I'd like to see reasonable reports of irregularities addressed in a timely fashion. Everyone's talking past each other on this issue, and the media stonewalling on seemingly legitimate issues that had arisen in this election is only furthering the spread of misinformation, not tamping down on it.Armhulen wrote:What Dems are doing are shooting down crackpot theories, not actual cases. Re: Rip trump
Perhaps I phrased that incorrectly. It is true that the media has published plenty of articles concerning spurious accusations that there was widespread organized voter fraud in key states. My criticism was more to the point that loud proclamations from the media that there was "zero election fraud" are objectively incorrect. There is small-scale election fraud in every election- 2020 was no exception.Lumbermancer wrote:Do they though?Farquaar wrote:and the media stonewalling on seemingly legitimate issues that had arisen in this election.

Re: Rip trump
That's exactly what happened in all cases so far. Every single suit alleging even small improprieties has been thrown out of court for being meritless. If they have some other evidence, they need to bring it up. But they won't, because no such evidence exists, because there's not that kind of widespread voter fraud.Farquaar wrote: I never said it was proven in court. I only said that the reports were sufficient to bring a court case. There's nothing to report. Literally. Lemme walk you through a case in PA. A Republican poll watcher alleged there were errors being made in the state's "curing" procedure where they correct errors with ballots. Two examples would be calling the person they got the vote from to make sure it's them or checking to make sure someone casting a provisional ballot didn't also mail a ballot. The complaint was over around 100 ballots in total, and the court determined that there were no errors being made and the ballots were valid.Farquaar wrote: I'm all for shooting down crackpot theories, because I'm in favour of providing the public with accurate information. Re: Rip trump
Trump has straight up lost. There is no coming back from this.
Even if some voter fraud is found those votes will be removed and a recount performed. This would have to happen in MULTIPLE states and even after getting to the recount Trump would then have to win said recount in MULTIPLE states.
It's not happening.

Re: Rip trump
You don't "get" votes you have votes. A recount's only purpose is to remove fraudulent votes, not let SCOTUS decide who wins. Trust me on this, setting the precedent that the courts can randomly cut out however many votes they want to allow a party to win whilst also serving for life is a very quick way to lose the title of "democratic"Grazyn wrote:You don't have to complete a recount to flip a state. Can't we just agree that using fraudulent votes to unfairly win is insanely corrupt, but also using a bipartisan life position to force a party winner they like is also insanely corrupt? I don't want anyone who cheated their way into office in office, it betrays the country's foundational ideals of liberty and justice

If you're expecting 'democratic' from the US you're in for a lot of surprises both in the future and if you check the history books
That said the biggest things I've heard now is investigations into voting machines and counting software that re-assigned Trump votes to Biden in multiple key states. The same software was found to have led to irregularities in the 2016 election as well, though there's no solid proof of it doing any of this because for some reason voting machines are protected from inspections under multiple laws, including copyright and trade secret stuff
Here's a thing I got linked about those, highlighting the irregularities from 2016(Article from 2018)
https://medium.com/@inboulder/the-curio ... 9843a3fb6a
Tl;dr version:
Statistics and accountancy methods used to determine if someone bullshits numbers finds that some election results are very likely to have been tampered with
All these 'likely tampered' results came from places using a specific voting machine/system that has now been used in the 2020 election in many contested states
No conclusive evidence, just a lot of "Something looks to be very wrong here". It is entirely possible for this to be just coincidence, but it's what accountants use to catch people evading taxes and hiding financial data so it's likely that something has been messed with
