This has hit pretty hard some of us. LaKiller8 is quite bummed and was not in the mood of doing this announcement, and I won't say I'm totally fine with this all myself.I'm pretty sad to announce this, but a friend, contributor and member of our community, Austin "Valmoric" Philips has passed away in his sleep on the 6th of November, 2018 at the age of 22.
Even though he joined the community quite recently, he was pretty active, helpful and motivated. He was extremely positive an eager to help, with an obvious desire to improve things and willingness to take feedback. Thanks to him, we have nice new lobby screens and concept art.
We won't be able to enjoy him around anymore, nor his contributions, but we'll remember him fondly.
Due to all this we've decided to hold a day of mourning. We won't be running a test today.
He had a respiratory failure and passed away peacefully. We'll miss him. I know I will, he was a really nice person and we could use more people like him. And I guess some songs we exchanged now will take a different meaning for me.
I invite all of you who feel like it to pay your respects.
