Just make your newbies do torchless runs at the start. I make a lot of gold early on by pretty much throwing their lives away

Portal 3 wouldn't feel right, P2 finished things up.
L4D3 should absolutely happen, L4D2 is really showing it's age now and a third one could be fantastic.
The half life series was amazing and groundbreaking, and the fact it's never going to be finished is an absolute tragedy.

Children cannot do anything that may involve violence. No scavenging and no guarding.
They can be taught utility stuff, though, and do chores. They'll complain after a while, but it certainly beats starving/freezing/dying of disease.

If you play killer, either get the meta perks or suck trying and don't pick huntress or nurse. Unless you put the time in, the """top three""" the reddit keeps pinning up there aren't and don't get me started on how melee hatchets work worse than melee on survivors spazzing out directly in front of you to circumvent hit detection.

In other news I've picked up the elder scrolls online, because I bought its unlimited gold thingy edition ages ago to play with a friend and forgot about it until now. They wanted me to pick the elf, elf & cat faction, so I naturally shunned the knife ears and then got a little bit sad as piercings & beards are in the same category. My deviancy has been limited! Oh and the combat seems a little dull.

It's literally running away from someone who is usually not all that interested in catching you anyway so that you can do more QTEs on a generator
If you're in a group of 4 and having fun together, then sure, but everything is fun with friends. Why not play something that has more to it than 'run from thing' and 'spacebar occasionally'

As for killer, nurse is really the best killer. It only took me 30 minutes to get to the point where I could just blink onto a survivor and hit them. Higher rank survivors do better at dodging it, but never enough to have everyone survive
Trapper is easy mode though

Just tried some Friday 13th, to see how it is

First game, fixed up a four seater car, drove up to a group to get 3 lucky guys out
>Nobody gets in, uninteligible russian on voice
>Drive on to another small group
>Nobody says anything
>Just drive away and escape alone
>Spectate to see what's up
>Both groups have gathered around Jason and are taking turns whacking him with blunt objects, stunlocking him while someone micspams a particularly low quality version of the soviet anthem
>5 minutes of stunlock later, game ends because Jason has quit

Game 2
>Grab a baseball bat
>Walk around looking for car parts to escape
>Run into Jason
>Whack him once with the bat
>He goes down and just does not get up
>Even when I come close to check up on him
>Walk away and loot some cabins
>Walk back outside to see Jason is getting up only to be whacked right back down by a small group of 3 with random assorted tools
>Jason stops trying to get up after a few minutes of this and I just walk away

>Picked to be Jason
>Why am I moving so slow when I selected the faster Jason
>Oh well, lets go try to place traps
>Place traps at phone box, break power, place trap at power substation
>Group of four people armed with baseball bats and random blunt objects walks up to me
>Since I'm not shit, I actually know how to block attacks as Jason
>But since Jason can't move at a pace faster than a 90 year old with a bad back, I can't actually catch up to people to kill them either
>Using the shift abiliy to quickly close the gap and grab someone
>Works...And then I'm not actually allowed to make the kill
>Group leisurely walks up to me and whacks me with a stick
>This knocks down Jason
>What follows is a 5 minute standoff where I can not touch them because they're faster than me, but they also can't touch me because I know how to block attacks
>All the while someone is micspamming extra loud earrape
>Fuck this, teleport away
>The rest of the match is spend by me trying to get points breaking random power boxes while this group of 4 is trying to catch up to me so they can beat me up

This is not how a dangerous killer should have to play
If some camp counselors decide to take on a mythical killer that is known for killing camp counselors, the end result should be a struggle that buys them a bit of time at best and their death at worst. Not them being entirely invulnerable because even blocking attacks puts Jason in a 5 second animation that can't be cancelled while they can just leisurely walk away. What's the point of blocking attacks if you're still effectively stunned?
What the shit happened to this game? It had problems, but now it's just a joke

I made a bounty hunter that was going to specialize in personal combat. And then he randomly got maimed and now he's a cripple who can't do combat. And since all his skillpoints went into combat he's now just sorta useless
He never did get into combat. And for some reason everyone hates me because ??? after I see their ships in space and get the option to leave or open fire...And apparently both of these options cause a relationship drop
Game needs work, shit's random to the point where you and your entire crew just get crippled with nothing you can do about it, making money is nearly impossible because everyone is eager to fight you which damages your ship and gets you a repair bill bigger than any payment you'll get, and none of the game gets explained at any point.

Got around to playing la-mulana 1, it's got charm but damn do I keep hitting walls. I gave in a couple times and looked things up and every where I looked just drowned me in spoilers. The spoiler-free guides are a fucking joke also, it's just step-by-steps instructions but not in a good way: enter this room, do this thing; go to this other room and do this other thing. No descriptions no tips, just sets of instructions to get lost in because I'm not a robot. And why the fuck are you calling rooms by some arbitrary grid? This is a spoiler-free guide, I don't have a fucking complete map of the whole dungeon divided into neat little squares. Who is this guide for? Is this what metroidvania fans are like?

2 Seems a bit better in this regard, 1 definitely has a lot of obscure things that you have to do, especially towards the later parts of the game. The map actually is a huge part of solving a lot of the puzzles as well, being able to visualize the structure of the ruins (front and back) plays a large role later on. They may have gone a little too far in some places, but it does feel designed like you're exploring an ancient temple full of ancient traps. I'll admit, I had to use a guide for certain parts (woo boy gate of illusion)
